I had to fix my router again, was unable to find lobbies at all and no one would join my GiPs. Some nice solos as a result, but not what I was going for. It had a major software update and I realized that that probably broke my firewall rules. It had, and after fixing that package I can now join lobbies normally. But they are much fewer and farther between.

I did manage to carry a lobby of newbs on my host during that time. Was GI, which helped, and then a wild crashsuit appeared with his Juggs bouncing, and helped me bring the younglings to the temple.

TECH ARMOR

I played two matches today. The first was fairly uneventful, some lag that made my AssGuard look silly. Was grabbed 3 times, twice by amazing magnet. Felt like RedJohn.

Second game, I realized my host was unforgiving. Turian Sentinel is the answer to all questions.

I killed 9 Phantoms, 2 Goons, 3 Troopers, 1 Centurion, and one turret - with Tech Armor. It was, simply, glorious, as befits a Glorious Fat Turian.

25 SMG Kills, with Locust X IA2. 10 HS

4 Ops Packs consumed.

Zero Turian Sentinels went down during these 10 waves of Gold combat. I did get 5 Revives though, explains 2 Ops Packs.

All you were missing was the Clichéd third being either a TGI Harrier or a Reegar Sexbot.

Credit where it's due, Warlord had sense to put a stagger tool on for phantoms. Hope he get Sync'd on wave 3.

Sounds like they're just doing their upcoming challenges, then checking N7HQ in the 2nd monitor, or just leaving then they've completed their challenges. No good. I tend to CP grind on all difficulties, but then I try to keep playing until Mission success or failure. Even Fregatte to their credit will linger through an entire match and not quit out or AFK (much to my own frustration)

So the AFK booting only seems to work on players that are alive (or really, the countdown to kicking is only ticking down whilst the player is alive, pausing if they die), which makes sense because what if you get synced at the start of wave 8 and have to sit and watch someone snipe for 10 minutes? So if my advice is that, if someone is AFK, just keep reviving them. It's annoying, but the longer they're alive whilst AFK, the sooner and more likely they will get kicked.
