It's called co-op for a reason...
While looking for random Silver matches, I suddenly spawned in London against Reapers. Everyone was dead and suddenly I realized I had 10 seconds left to kill an assassination target. Didn't make it.
Back in the lobby, two of the other PUGs voted to kick the third, a lvl9 Novaguard armed with a lvl1 Katana + a lvl1 Predator.
It's fine, I get it, but I couldn't have the heart to vote for the kick because... we were all new at some point, right? I don't want to discourage new players, but rather to help them, and I remember I was in their place not so long ago.
One or two matches later (Reapers/Goddess), everyone seems to think it's a great idea to 1) not do the mission (hacking and defending the area), and 2) go out and get killed repeatedly until being given a proper final sync-kill. By wave 10 I was doing the mission on my own, of course, and wave 11 didn't get any better (for them): Lone Survivor.
I wasn't going to rant or anything, but everyone left the lobby in shame, it seems.

Flimsy kite.
Reactor/Geth/Gold, wave 10 escort. Escort started at top of reactor and the spawn occurred right by the nearest ammo box to it. I nuked the two times to revive the pugs against my best judgment. Escort went through the reactor where we were met by the two new primes. All pugs wiped with quick pyro stomps.
My FQE managed to kite the primes away to finish the escort solo, but it hurt. Dragging the Escort slowly from the reactor to the ramp to the LZ took forever and much cover was used. Soloing the remaining enemies was a simple enough task, but I did get downed by a pyro, forcing gel use.
Full extraction and the host promptly quit, leaving my heroic quarian alone in the lobby. Another day's work.

Wipes Well, I've been spoiled yesterday, today it's another day and my look on the ME3MP race is turning again to bleak. I mean two gold games that turned to nightmare for me, the kind of nightmare where as a Jug you collect platinum medals for revivals (yup, at least 20 revivals per game) and you're left almost by yourself to do the objectives... Decided it's time to finish Nomad again so I'm back on Jade with Fluffy (yes, that's my Jug ) for some gold public games. First one was a derperus mess, I got my gold revival medal by wave 4 (!), was left by myself to do devices on wave 6, got my 75 kill medal (as a Jug!) on w7 and wiped on w10 (again devices). This one was partly my fault, because except me there was no char upwards of lvl 16. The closest one to being decent was a level 8 QME who probably given time will get there. But the others... Second one was Geth. From the other game only the QME (now lvl 14) remained and we were joined by a lvl 20 Infiltrator BotB (!) and a lvl 16 Human Vanilla Vanguard in the low N7s - the kind that believes that they're invincible. This time it took me 5 waves to get my gold revival medal and though we had twice escort somehow we were never 4 in the circle... Had to finish w7 with just the QME and w8 by myself... Unfortunately by the time we got to w10 I had been left with only 2 nukes, no gel and of course we've got targets. I somehow managed to kill the targets but we wiped after that. I was again first, followed by the QME, with the BotB coming in 3rd... Frankly I cannot remember the last time I wiped against toasters. All in all, pugs will be pugs, so if you meet a competent one pity him he's an endangered species...

Rare. My Claymore HSol met two other rocket-hiding, also Claymore reload-canceling, Platinum grade pugs. One of them was a GI and the other a fellow brother-in-arms. Missiles were used only when it was really needed (I nuked a Banshee or two because I wanted all of us to extract) and everyone helped with the objectives on Sur'Kesh. I could see both of them were focused and experienced, they knew what they were doing. The only downside to this was the Geth, forcing us to misery and pretty much to cover-fight. Banshees also gave me trouble, but nothing like Primes. Anyway. If anyone is reading this, thanks for the trio, it was competitive and refreshing.

If you wipe because of a lvl9 on your team, chances are they're not the (only) problem and certainly don't deserve being kicked. Try to improve together.

Communication! Was teaming up with a friend for some U/U/G matches last evening when we got two very nice Pugs to join us for half a dozen games. They must've been former console players who made the switch to Pc, because they evidently knew what they were doing even though they didn't have that much guns. And they were very communicative also, a rare sight on Pc (apart from those annoying open-mic-tv-in-background guys). Had some laughs and nice chats, if only the ingame voice-chat weren't that horrible. I do understand and speak english quite well, but when context-sensitive words get lost in space it's difficult to follow the conversation Most fun I've had with Pugs in a long time!

Embarrassed. I need 1,400 points to knock out the indra challenge which would also finish the sniper rifle challenge...so, okay, cool...let's fire up a bronze Giant Reaper game and knock these out in 1 wave then quit...yeah, ummm..no. I forgot to make the game private so people started dropping in before the end of the wave...I didn't want to be a dick so I decided to stay and help the newbies. Did I forget to mention I was also a level 20 Geth Infiltrator?......so here I am with one of the most OP setups ever...mashing it out with these guys who are using avengers and predators and most likely leveling up their characters. I put up some ridiculous score and then extraction wave comes....Since I am accustomed to waiting up in the tower during extraction...I run up there... THIS IS BRONZE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i was worried about the extraction wave??????????????????????? stupid me didnt pay attention to the clock and I didnt make it to extraction.

It's always a good day getting Condor Collectors in UUP. Not a good day when during wave 10 cleanup the game crashes. I did manage to get back in time to help the new fresh to arrive pug on wave 10 cleanup, even if it was just one lone Banshee. Only 3 of us extracted. Also, the fourth pug slot was always changing to the point that when I returned some audio cues went missing. Why, do people not enjoy Condor Platinum Collectors?

Solid.
First gold since hiatus, Vanilla Reactor, Cerberus. I switched to the Valkyrie instead of going off-host AV and held my own. Went down a couple of times, mostly due to the environmental awareness not yet being up to par again, but other than that a solid performance (2nd on scoreboard even). Teammates were great and it never felt like it's gonna be a close one. Well, except that one time during the hack in the reactor chamber. We were in a bit of pickle there, getting swarmed from all sides but it worked out in the end.
Also, first time playing the Valkyrie which is a fun class. I've not quite figured her out yet, though. She's good at long and short range but excels at neither it seems and I'm not quite sure if this is the way to go or if I should pick one of the two...

NotGood. AIU has got to be the worst kit introduced hands down. Never thought I'd miss the days of TGI filled lobbies. Wait, what? I'm surprised of this post. AIU's are a classic shotgun wielder favourite, and so OP that even when I wasn't playing seriously I still used to end up in 1st place. Are you sure that you know how to use them?

Invigorating... Dropped into a gold/ghost/collector game...there was two female quarians and a krogan something....so we get a wave 3 device hack. We get all 3 except the last one. I think the enemies did a good job keeping EVERYBODY occupied because by the time i looked around, there was pink skulls everywhere and the last device was placed in that bottom open area near that ladder that leads up to the upper platform near the extraction area. (really bad spot)... So now i have to somehow get down there and finish the hack (no time to kite enemies)...I had to use most of my rockets and ops packs to stay alive and luckily I was using cyclonic 4 shields, because i had to stop hacking twice due to me getting lit from multiple enemies. finally i cleared the last device with like 8 seconds left, ran around like a maniac trying to finish off praetorians and collector soldiers. I was left with only 2 medi-gels and 2 ops packs after wave 3 and 2 rockets. fast-forward to wave 8...we are REALLY struggling to survive, and we all know how wave 8 seems to be pretty intense no matter what faction it is, and everybody wiped, so it's up to yours truly to clutch. I kinda surprised myself, because there was no way i thought i was going to clear that wave being how we was getting our asses handed to us,...5-7 min later after some heavy kiting, i cleared the wave. I don't want to write a book...so wave 9, i ended up using my two rockets on praetorians and scions that was just relentless in their attacks..wave 11 comes thru and i have no rockets, medi-gels,ammo-packs or ops packs....we all stayed together and basically crashed and burned to extraction, but we made it....one of thee toughest collector matches i've ever had....strangely enough, i luv these types of games where the team struggles, but we avoid a total collapse....just a good hard fought grind to the end.... ....i can see us probably with our bodies wracked with pain, armor cracked with blood stains on it and sitting in the shuttle looking back and laughing on it...the match was that good...(oh i forgot to mention...i was a destroyer)

Irregular
Dropped into rregular's GiP on Condor Reapers, somewhere around Wave 8 or 9 I noticed that 2 pugs had dropped out of the game. This became known to me when every enemy on the entire planet turned to focus fire me as rregular hit his Tactical Cloak. He revived me into a Banshee hug, so I made like a pug and abandoned him.

Condor, on all platforms, is extremely prone to the black screen "Waiting for other players" on the 4th player slot. So it's not uncommon to see multiple people joining and leaving during the course of the game, if you're paying attention.

Condor, on all platforms, is extremely prone to the black screen "Waiting for other players" on the 4th player slot. So it's not uncommon to see multiple people joining and leaving during the course of the game, if you're paying attention. On PC I've never seen the black screen or invisible enemies glitch on any map. And only once do I recall some players seeming to have trouble joining one particular Condor map about a month ago (but in that case the 4th player kept changing and there was a host migration too, both things that glitch the game anyway). But on PC there's less lag too (with or without the less lag mod that I've also started using), because as I've said before, connection issues is what causes these glitches from my experience. In that game I talked above, the 4th pug kept changing because they rage quit after things clearly not going their way. Also, SMR, what's up. I seen you online playing ME3mp once recently and never again. Wanted to get a game or two in, but that one time was a bad time for me.

BioWare gives us really mixed signals. On one hand they really want to help new scrub players with stuff like AIU, and on the other hand... the default for new arrivals is Collectors Platinum.

Douche Canoe.
The match itself was pretty standard - Vancouver, Gold, Collectors - without much of a problem and full extraction. On wave 2, though, I went down (still getting accustomed to the Valkyrie) and waited for a revive. When none came I bled out because it was pretty obvious the other three could handle it (and I might need the gel later). Enter douche canoe, who then started cussing, something along the lines of "if you don't f*cking gel, don't play gold"- after the three of them just waltzed through the rest of wave 2. He then proceeded to complain about some of us messing up the spawns a bit later. While he was right, it also didn't matter in the slightest with that team.
He ended up going down more than anyone else and immediately gel'd every time before his body even hit the floor (at least he put his money where his mouth is, I'll give him that). At one point, me and another guy were literally right beside him and we didn't even manage to turn around before he was up again.
Anyway, he left at the end of Wave 10 (causing a host migration which thankfully worked properly).

Gooey
I just learned how much goop i could produce by melting enemies with the PPR Devastator build. It is pretty flipping amazing. I never even liked the thing in Singleplayer so i was very skeptical but it was much better than i had anticipated.
