Host

I've only been playing about once a week now but had a couple of games this morning. However, couldn't complete a single full game because each game the host would quit half way through. Host migration would follow but now the new host has a horrible connection/lose connection/whatever else happens. Three attempts at gold and not one was completed to extraction. I quit shortly after, unplugged my xbox, hooked my nintendo classic up again and played some Mario Bros 3 instead cuz that game fucking rules.

Really.

I loaded into a Gold Wave 1 Condor Collectors, and I was the only member.  Must have just caught the tailend of a wipe and inhereted host.

Bedtime

Dropped GiP to Glacier Hazard/Reapers/Gold, Wave 8. Two pugs were already dead. It was just my SE and an SI. We cleared 8 together, then heavy melee'd each other.

Wave 9, pretty much the same. Wave 10 was x4 Devices, well the two pugs, as seemed to be the tradition every Wave, were DoA. I distracted enemies into the basement while the SI did the Devices, but he went down immediately after the final one. I clutched the Wave with no gels and no missiles.

Wave 11, the SI was still standing, but didn't make it to the LZ in time. We both bailed out of that lobby.

I waited a minute, then searched again. Now he had his own game going. I took an Asari Valkyrie, and of course, got Collectors/Rio. As if that wasn't bad enough, it was pretty laggy. Wave 3 I was the only one in the Escort, so I quit. Now there's nobody in the Escort. I hope they run out of time and fail.

*SOMETIMES* if you get grabbed with a rocket launcher out, you can fire it anyway.  Doesn't hurt to try!

Funny.
Got to babysit 3 PUGS with situational awareness of blind 3 day old kittens. Geth had a field day with them. And I had 15 revive medal by wave 6. Oh sexy Turian Cabal  what would I do without you?

Reapers/Dagger/Gold

A very fun match, even if I did spend the entire time being chased around by pairs of banshees.  The pugs were decent, played smart, and did objectives.  And it always helps that my Vorcha Hunter LOVES reapers!  (CSMG with incendiary rounds) FEs here, FEs there, FEs everywhere!

Cry.  I would cry.  And I will if she isn't in Andromeda MP right away.

CrazyFun

Ended up in a lobby with a modded game. Chaotic, crazy but fun. Lots and lots of abominations and husks together with medium mooks of all factions and boss units. This was much more close to what platinum difficulty should be like. Would love to have this mod as well...

Tales from the Puggerlands vol. Unknown

Instead of doing some hardcore challenges on platinum under 20 mins, I decided to remind myself what it feels like to pug some games. In the meantime I thought that I'd finish some character waves.

1st game - Reactor/Reapers/Gold

For most of people here this match would be a definition of typical pug match. 2 Juggernauts with Reegars, Vorcha flamer and me- TGI. Instead of HV barrel I decided to install only extended barrel on my Revenant (I saw a thread where people discussed that HV barrel reduces the shoot through wall damage). And I noticed the difference. You can call me scrub. I even managed to end the match at the top of scoreboard. Even we achieved 5 WS.

2nd game - DaggerH/Reapers/Gold

Very noticeable lag. Again - GIP. My AIU met some new players who were farming gold. Fortunately for me I had 3 shoot Raider at my disposal. I have to admit, it wasn't very smooth as most of the time me and another Juggy were clutching waves. But on the plus side I didn't have to do it on my own. In the end we all extracted.
Edit: I forgot to mention - I cleaned up W10. I think that was a permission for everyone else to nuke extraction wave   But it worked!

3rd game - London/Cerberus/Gold

Stayed for another game with the host. Joined by some experienced players we managed to end the match in 20 mins, despite noticeable lag. Atlas huged my Krogan Warlord once but other than that, no complaints.

All in all I think I enjoyed pugging again. To you all - happy Valentines! (if you celebrate it that is).

Frustrating....


Dropped into a lobby with some mid-lower level pugs. It set to unknown/unknown/gold. We get White/Reapers. Y'know i don't mind carrying (I was using my faithful Phoenix VG) but don't let the CP fool you, I'am a very AVERAGE player!.... .....these guys was dying every round and none of these clowns revived themselves when they got waxed. I went out of my way to get them when I could, but if I can't get to you, gel-up!

Luckily wave 3, 6, was targets and the last (10) was devices I believe (That was a trainwreck). I had like 15 revives when all was said and done...probably more than that tho!

Luckily enough it was Reapers which is the faction i love playing against, but if this had been Cerb or Geth? I probably would've been waxed.... .....After multiple waves of pugs dying, not gelling, one of them tries to send a friend request.....so i could endure even more of this madness?.....HAIL NAW!..... .


These cats probably looked at my CP and thought i could carry for days.... ......we made it to extraction, but it was a grueling 34 min grind....and not the fun kind....I left as soon as we got back to the lobby.
