LoonySpectre Seeing your name here... we played together a couple hours ago! Goddess/Collector match and you were rocking a Volus Match was super messy as we suck more than usual against Collectors (the other guys were my colleagues). Nice bumping into you. So that's why the name was very vaguely familiar The pleasure is mine.

My handicapped, Keprel-syndrome Drell. Wasn't really a PUG, since inert joined my lobby with my 2 PUGz. Since I was the host, I wanted to take my DrellGuard for a spin. I specced my usual powers as 6/6/0/6/6, however I hit ready without confirming it, so I ended up on Hydra/Collectors with one single point on BC. I went down in a hundredth of a second... I had no grenades, 0 fitness, 0 passives and a Raider IV on Hydra. Let's just say... not my absolute favorite game! ps: I have to add, the rest of our games were absolutely splendid, we rekt everything with our krogan - and then with full biotic teams. inert's SmashDept with my Valkyrie was brutal. Annihilation field+Smash is devastating.

Schrödinger Hopped into a game in progress for some pistol cp farming. Things went south fast--I lost my Executioner Pistol's gunfire sfx right out of the gate, racked up a lot of revives, and saw people run to the LZ too early during the final wave. So I waited for a bit and later ran in to missile the geth primes swarming them...only to be punked by a geth hunter and die right outside of the extraction circle with no more gels. As we all proceeded to bleed out, we...won?

AmusingAnd I mean it. Yesterday I bumped into a lobby full of Geth Troopers, with flamers, reegar and such. So yeah, this time, I was the one who changed kit to match everyone It was just gold, so it wasn't about whether we survive it or not, but it was about how fast we could go. I think sub 16 on Reactor is acceptable. But despite everything, I enjoyed this game quite a bit. Not because it was super interesting to play 4 flamers, but I think those guys were friends, who came back to the game after some time (or some alt accounts). Melee shenanigans between the waves, reviving, participating in objectives. All was good. So shoutouts to my random teammates, if you're reading this - GG! SurprisingAfter that flamer game, I teamed up with Doc. Our duo went pugging. Immediately some Volus and this chap joined our lobby. RNG gave us Reapers on Glacier, so everything went super fast. Our guest was silent throughout the whole match, participated in objectives, didn't nuke spawns and didn't even nuke targets on wave 10! I was going to give him some credit for surprisingly nice game, but then he started to nuke spawns on extraction. So yeah, business as usual. After the game we left him alone, coz we joined Senor and Fraggle for one more game

So, I started playing yesterday and in a couple of waves later, I ended up in 2012. The "funny" things is, that after 2400 hours, I play the maps mostly of muscle-memory and I didn't even notice the time-travel, until the 6th Wave. I even take cover at the little room's "invisible" wall. PC dijon species FTW!

Yawn
After watching history repeat itself I decided to try an lighten my mood with a couple quick matches. I played as silly kits on gold only to be met by quitters, OP setups, Warp/Inc cheese and spawn nuking.
Game 1 - FQE Arc Pistol w/ low level consumables. Had a pug that is overall a good player, but will spawn nuke on earlier waves and use reegar/power kits, In this case, Wraith AIU. Nuked a spawn on wave 7 when falling behind my score which was unnecessary and made the game less fun. Still, there are worse players out there.
Game 2 - Off Host Crusader BatGuard (the Jimmer). This is a light melee kit where I try to "baseball bat" everything - it's not ideal, but it works and is a riot. Had a Lancer HSent using Warp Inc/Cheese spawn nuke W11 to topscore. I could have responded in kind, but decided to take care of the Prime he dropped between the LZ and the team's position to ensure full extraction. I can't stand selfish acts that put the team under undue stress.
Game 3 - Scimitar TSol. Joined a match where there was a lone player using a really neat Avenger/Executioner Pistol Shadow. He ended up quitting or D/Cing, but only after some audible "disagreement" over the mic. I was dispatching the Collectors rather quickly with the uncommon weapon, but ultimately I don't know why they left. I was joined by a pug I've seen before using a Black Widow BatSent. They were the closest thing to a breath of fresh air. Odd that a BW-touting pug is the highlight of the night.

#CantMakeMe He didn't scare this guy burnroute2b? There are points out there. He's far too busy to be bothered with something like teamwork. Had mentle777 go mental on wave 11, plenty of nukes let loose. Mind you, this was basically the theme all night. One pleasant game with Throwslinger. There was some cheese at play, but the Acolyte/Throw timing is pretty fun to watch.

Recently, I've been playing with fucking idiots, who nuke the spawn on objective waves, so basically what they do is they nuke the spawn, so the two Praetorians and 2 Scions with 3 Captains will conveniently spawn in the middle of the path of the escort drone. We had a thread on how to solve missile spammers. The general idea was that missiles should be limited (say to 3), would provide no score for damage dealt and would not reduce the wave budget. Obviously reducing the wave budget is kind of the point, especially for soloers so that may not be the best fix. After playing a few more pugs and seeing the same faces using the same OP kits nuking spawns over and over, I'd like to propose the following change: Missiles reduce your score by the damage dealt. It'd be funny to mod a lobby to reflect this change and go out into the pug world. For example, mentle777 is a fantastic player. In that recent game, his Concussive HSol/Wraith wrecked ten waves admirably. This was until he ran off and spent all six missiles on spawns during the last minute of wave 11. This was on White, so I parked my butt in the spawn at the "top of the stairs" to ensure that the enemies spawned as far from the LZ as I could possibly control. It would have been hilarious to see his score drop from 100k to 50k due to that stunt. I wasn't really familiar with him, actually lol. Run into him a lot. He's definitely capable and actually pretty decent compared to most, but expect nukes and "skipped" objectives from time to time.

My last PUG featured an invisible player and, what's kind worse, invisible Primes. So invisible, in fact, that on two assassination missions I didn't even get the pointer until lesser units became targets for assassination. Yet they still got shots out of nowhere. Working as intended.

Pointers
Glacier Hazard/Rippaz/Gold
Dropped into a duo at the end of wave 1. My co-stars were: a Worlard and a Volus Merc. I noticed a certain absence of our Worlard and quickly found out why. He didn´t know how to safely engage Banshees and Brutes. A lack I rectified first chance I got. After that the match was mostly smooth sailing. Also Scimitar GE for the win.

Before that invisible Prime thing, there was a Collector/Glacier game. The PUGs were so overpowered that we completed Gold in under 20 minutes.

However, last week had a game with Biala, no problems with him whatsoever. (I heard some rustling in a mic, but nobody said anything the whole match.) But we got lucky and the rest of the team was doing missions properly, as well.Everybody got revived, didn't see any w11 stupidity nor spawnnukes earlier. Am I just the odd one out who catches most of these guys on their best behaviour?

Am I just the odd one out who catches most of these guys on their best behaviour? Not exactly a pug game as I joined Apry's GIP, but yeah... I think I ran into burnroute twice prior to that. Didn't see anything unusual, but I might just have not paid enough attention. It was kinda funny the first time though. 3 of us got synced by Phantrolls, and burnroute had to curry with their Vorcha. They started to kill enemies, then going mental at the walls and melee the crap out of them. Took much longer until the wave ended because they did this in between killing enemies. It was quite amusing though

Clueless ? Glitch ? Malicious?
Dagger Gold Cerberus. At wave 3, pizza delivery. Host (someone I'm familiar with, very good player) was on AIU, did the first pizza. Second pizza was picked up by another player on AIU and then the inexplicable happened. He sat there. He SAT there.
He did not attempt to go to the drop off point, he camped down there while the other two were clearing the path for him. I was on top, making sure the other side was relatively clear. The minutes ticked down. wtf is he doing? I was wondering. Did he not know he has the package? But I saw him heading for it and picked it up. He knew what's going on. So what's up with him? Since I've no mic, I couldn't say anything. The host doesn't have mic either.
So near the last few seconds, host came up and we just sort of looked at each other. There's no way we could kick this guy off so we had to wait for the timer to go to zero. Match over. I was all for kicking if he stayed for the next match but he left. He dropped in again in the middle of a wave of the next match but left as soon as he came in.
If it's a glitch, he should have left when he realised somethings's wrong; frankly, I doubt it's a glitch. If he's really that clueless which I doubt, then he's a dimwit. If it's neither of the two, then it's malicious. He wanted to screw everyone over.

Clueless ? Glitch ?
