So, I'm curious. Those who romanced Zev with female Wardens. Elf, human, or dwarf?

Well, Mahariel's origin is rather outside the normal. Friend/lover absorbed by a magic mirror that simultaneously tainted you is not exactly "just another day in Thedas."

When it comes to the city elf origin, I can almost see Zevran as like a pre Justice Anders. He doesn't like it, but nothing to be done. City elf may be the type to try to fight against the system, and inspire Zevran to do so as well.

I don't know as much about Brosca, and don't want t spoiled, but seems they could sort of bond over being forced into a life they both didn't want due to birth.

I'm biased about Surana, because the Surana I crafted fell for Zevran by no intention of my own. She was, on the surface, cold and deadly and kept telling herself she was willing to do anything for freedom. She devoted herself to the study of magic in the Circle so she could get travel rights. By lack of free time, and lack of interest in those present, she has no experience in the romance department, although bad things had been done to her by a now dead templar when she first arrived there.She was targeted specifically because she was an elf. Because she'd been stand offish and hard edge, boys in the circle were too afraid to even approach her. Jowan, a brother figure, was her only source of affection. And then there was Zevran, his life literally in her hands, calling her a sex goddess; also acting like he was cold and deadly when he wasn't trying to charm your pants off of you. He likes "dangerous things" like the Warden. Both disenchanted of the Dalish through personal experience. I don't know, it was odd, because I'd heard his flirt lines with two other wardens, but when he did it with this Character, she was just ...whew! And when he finally proposed, her line about how she was no wiser in love than he was was so very true. It was a great romantic story arc for me.

I don't like Aeducan as an origin, so I won't comment on that and already shared thoughts on human noble.

So, Amell. Used to be a snot nosed noble until their silver spoon was taken by fate. I dunno. It may just be that I prefer Zevran, who is a minority to be with another minority although we all know he doesn't care.

Personally I find it really hard to romance the same character with a different PC. Actually, I find alternate playthroughs difficult in general. I start a lot but never finish because somewhere in the back of my mind I'm like 'I've been here before, and that's not how it really happened." Not to mention characters have a mind of their own. That's why to this day I've still never seen the end of the Alistair romance.

I know Zevran likes choices that positively effect elves. You can rack up approval by shamelessly flirting with him and listening to his stories without judging him or coming off as pitying. If you haven't already, you should get his two story gifts-- Dalish gloves and Antivan boots and of course you can spam his approval bar with silver and gold. It's been awhile, but I think he's pro Branka making golems, but don't quote me on that.

In my playthroughs he always turned on me Though I never talked to him much and I never gave him his specific gifts. What level does his approval need to be for him not to betray you?

Does anyone have a romantic song in mind for Zevran? I've been trying to think of one that suited him.

That sounds nice I'm excited to see the finished project. I know this time of the year is super busy. I've been mostly on my phone on this site too, because I rarely seem to have the opportunity toprocrastinate on my computer.
