I understand people who don't trust BioWare after Mass Effect 3, but personally I can't spoil myself that much or I just don't see the point in playing the game. I love discovering the characters and story and that initial excitement and wonder really helps with the nostalgia factor when it comes to replayability too. If I go into a game knowing what's going to happen, it lessens a lot of the experience for me.

Edited to add: BansheeOwnage I hope that Andromeda is good enough to restore some of your belief in Bioware! Like you, I feel they're the one gaming company who consistently puts out games that I really enjoy so I hope they can continue that after the blip that was Mass Effect 3.

(I too was disappointed and unsatisfied with how that ended, but I became ambivalent about it very quickly and reasoned with myself that there was a great deal in the game that I did enjoy, so I wasn't going to let the ending ruin the whole experience for me. But I appreciate a lot of people were (justifiably) much more upset with the outcome and the aftermath.)

I, for one, am looking forward to see some more actual game footage in the Andromeda Helius cluster. The resolution of the footage ought to be interesting. Meaning, I doubt is will be in 4K. Creating 4K video cinematics is expensive and time consuming. Plus I don't see the need for more.

Marketing at N7 Day may announce that Mass Effect: Andromeda will support the Pro's 4K resolution, at game launch time (again?). But, Bio also announced (Fabrice?) the game is capped at 30FPS regardless of the PS4 platform. ... a real bummer for some.

I really, really want to see my Helius LI.. Will she be green? A cat lady? If she's very human looking, I'd bet Bio went for the Bald look... avoids that 'Nasty Hair"... LOL

i really like pathfinder's setting but i REALLY don't like how focused on min/maxing the rules are. it's designed from the ground up by and for min/maxer's and autists. the rest of us normies have to play on crayon eater difficulty just to hit a target.

I wouldn't get too excited for N7 day. There will be some information, which hopefully will be new and exciting, but I suspect it will be significantly less than what a lot of people are expecting. It is just the start of the marketing campaign and not a major event so don't expect too much. The good news for these people is there will likely be additional information coming out at regular intervals until the game releases.

That's a good start, you'll definitely get the highlights there. There are a number of other devs worth following as well (see Twitter Thread). And as more news rolls out, we'll also see interviews/exclusives from the major gaming news sites.

There'll probably be a livestream or something on the day itself - so Twitch and/or YouTube, with links on most major gaming sites - and I'm pretty sure I remember reading something in the Twitter Thread about BioWare reps giving demos to - presumably - journalists, so I wouldn't be surprised if some of the major sites already had previews and such written up, ready to go when the NDAs expire--which'll probably be timed to coincide with N7 Day.

As for news going forward... Honestly, if you're on this forum, it'll probably come to you one way or another. I'm just gonna keep following the sites I follow anyway - Kotaku and Giant Bomb, mainly - and fill in the gaps with Hrungr's wonderful Twitter Thread, and possibly the Mass Effect Reddit on occasion.

Daylight saving time ends Nov 6th this year. I foresee problems .....huge problems......along the lines of the year 2000 catastrophe, cool stuff being presented too early or too late on N7 days, fans panicking.

Aaryn Flynn (http://bsn.boards.net/user/1533) has an account here though he's not been on for a bit and at least one other AFAIK (plus mod02 apparently) - Sofa Jockey (I think) gave them a special forum icon.

ME2 ruined the Adepts according to some , but soldiers shined. Vanguards were popular because trickier than most classes.
ME3 made Adepts shine and ruined the soldier according to some. Vanguards were popular because they were insanely easy and OP .

so, can we extrapolate something out of that.
