Save file limit...?

What platform? On PC, I've had to manually delete saves but never an entire profile.

I can hit the limit in a single PT. Amateur.

Like you, I save obsessively. But rather than feel irritated when I get the "you have too many save files" message, I just go back every now and then and delete a few. I also delete all the autosaves every time I load up the game, since I really have no need for a dozen of them a few seconds apart. I keep all the chapter and loyalty mission saves, and also upload them to another site in case of emergency.

Wow, I'll generally have about only 3 to 6 manual saves.  I try to delete all the autosaves before I exit the game.  Other than that, I'll only keep the Chapter saves.  After I'm don with the playtrhough, I'll just keep my last save so that I can go back in and mod weapons and respec before importing into a new NG+ game.

I'm sorry.  I wasn't meaning to imply that I don't frequently save manually.  I do.  I just delete older saves myself just as frequently as I save new ones.  I don't like having a lot of saves since I forget where they were at anyways and we can't name them to make them meaningful... that's why I make do with the Chapter saves.  One thing I don't like about them though, is if you go back to replay a portion of the game from the chapter save (just for the heck of redoing it), it pulls that save out of sequence.  I liked the replay memory feature they had in AC: IV (Black Flag).  I could just play through a mission time and again, even activating different perks within it, and not affect my progress in the actual playthrough.
