I fell down a Pinterest rabbit hole and now have a bunch of potentially v sexy avatars but none of them survive the mangling they undergo to fit the size/ratio requirements, any chance of extending the sexy kind of avatars mods get to general users? Maybe after a certain amount of posts or something if it's a loading time concern?

I feel like the forum's aesthetic qualities would be immeasurably improved with the inclusion of any of these as avatars (preferably, but not necessarily, by me):

The plugin that does the fancy avatars has a limited number of slots that it can handle. They're individually crafted on the back end, and have no user interface per se. I'll take a look and see if there might be a different option, or at least something we might be able to do to allow for some less restrictive sizes.

Fredward - I got it testing in the experimental theme, where it can accept larger portrait style images. Landscape will still not be the best, since there just isn't that much space there. If you let me know what theme you're using, I can make that the second test - if you don't want to try out the <<Experimental>> theme first.

Hmm, interesting. I wonder if that's the difference between upload/link. I used the link to the original image (https://i.pinimg.com/564x/cd/4c/bf/cd4cbfe81c70a3aad5d231b574b7066e.jpg) I wouldn't be surprised if ProBoards automagically resized it when you upload? I can test some more tomorrow.

Oh, yes, oops, sorry. Max of 150x250 but it will resize them if you just use a link. Something with a 9:16 or 10:16 ratio.

I think this broke and my avatar has returned to its shrunken shame. :ytho:

But yeah I noticed my avatar wasn't working and when I reuploaded it it went back to it's before dimensions. Anyone know why and/or whether it'd be fixable?
