Can you aim, OP? For style points and instant warm embrace as a classy individual- Volus Adept with Arc Pistol, Giant Cerberus. Cloak, Stasis, Headshot, Next. Shield Boost on damage and occasionally because you sense something; CD looks long but it doesn't matter, just charge your pistol and obliterate their skull like the bastardized android pieces of shit they are. I hate Cerberus first. Cerberus always. There is no greater enemy than a traitor. Kill them and make us proud! Volus Adept is great fun solo. Was my first Silver solo on my first alt account, with the mighty Mattock II. I was sick of PUGs, sick of playing HEngie, just wanted to shoot some people up, maybe getting a few biotic booms for class. It was one of my lower Silver solos, but it was much more fun than PS3 PUGs (I still argue that PUGs on PS3 are far worse than on PC, with ALMOST as much cheating [just missile glitching instead of modding]. PS3 Silver PUGs are the worst scum in the entire galaxy bar none). Really, soloing with a Volus will really help your skills in general, and especially your Volus Survival skills. It's worth trying, if only for science and reasons.

So, I dusted off the old Jugg, and myself, and played this game today. It was fun, mostly, and then I ragequit after a couple fun games with burningcherry and a fast platinum with he and NinjaSuperiority . Too much lag in the second plat, I kept rubberband dying to hell knows what was hitting me However, I did end up doing two Jugg solos. Both 5WS, 30:49 and 40:05. I don't post anything from the planned solo, because OMG it was some shaky shit. Hadn't played in a while, and it showed. Flawless through wave 6, barely got through and targets on wave 10 were a PITA. The screen is from a game I hosted that no one joined. Such is the life of the Geth Juggernaut, amirite Di-Crash? This was UUG and I didn't gear up for a solo, but the playstyle is simple. Even I can do it. Lancer is always underwhelming to me, and spamming Siege Pulse will get me killed too much. Use all the things situationally and you are very hard to kill, and can get away with quite a lot of derp. I used the Crusader, an elegant weapon of a more civilized era than the Lancer. Keep your Pulses for their DR, use them to get rid of annoying Nemesi and Phantoms - it is my preferred weapon for disposal of Cerberus females. Aim for head against Goon Squad, they don't appreciate it and they can suck it. Shield (4 ranks) is a lifesaver at times, and situational soft cover that is tall enough for the Jugster. Spam your Turret and use a full shield restore build initially, and then season to taste once you've grasped the hang of the kit's skills.

Spam your Turret and use a full shield restore build initially, and then season to taste once you've grasped the hang of the kit's skills. Yup, Crusader works quite well, too. The Lancer Jugg is completely dependant on Ammo Explosions, otherwise yes, it is a little underwhelming. Jugg's weight is good enough that he can use a lot of Siege Pulse with Crusader, whether you want to go Pulse first, then shoot, or shoot first, then detonate, both are very good with the Crusader on him (Saber is also a good choice for this Hybrid approach). That really is the true beauty of the Jugg though, a forgiving character so it is easy enough to get started with, but with enough depth and options to keep it interesting, even after you have "moved on" to other characters. I often feel that the Platform doesn't get the credit it deserves, probably because after most people see a PUG with it, the mere sight of it disgusts them so much that they can't bring themselves to try different things with it.

I got 3 melee kills in the first solo. Maybe 2 in the second.
If I had used it more, I would died more. Just a tangential thought about how to play the Jug. Melee is great in a pinch, and otherwise it is pretty bad. You stop moving, everything is coming at you, and then even with AM3 he can't get away fast enough and on more open spaces he is doomed.

wufiei, I benefited a lot from good advice from the pros in this thread: bsn.boards.net/post/198112/threadBut if you're getting to W9, it's just a matter of time until you make it to extraction. Just think about what is keeping you from reaching the end -- for example: running out of consumables, pushing too hard and getting surrounded, getting tunnel vision, hanging back too much and losing focus because the match is so long, etc. Then you can work on improving those specific things. Never give up, never surrender! You can do it!

I just wanted to point out these points specifically. Particularly because of the seemingly contradictory nature. They are, however, entirely true, and exactly the problems I face. I either push to hard, to avoid taking to long, and eat up my consumables getting out of bad situations, or I hang back and be careful, and then lose focus and get sloppy. So, eventhough these APPEAR contradictory, they are both symptoms of the same problem. Getting tunnel vision is also something that happens in these same situations, I know that I get distracted by things going well, and then start forgetting to check my flanks, then comes the Elbow Of Doom followed by Phaeston to the face, and dead. That was very good advice by Shinobu, take it to heart and follow it

The easiest solo, with fast. you don't need powerful weapons you don't have to use a lot of rocket you don’t even need powerful utilizers (On smaller maps, better is more powerful) you just need to understand how damage resist works in the game it seems so, perhaps the barrier was to quickly roll back the skill kalence.weebly.com/me3-builder.html#65!3203575!!24J56334!G.GE8L although here you just need to try how best to go you can even crookedly shoot half the game, just like me ... but you have to beat your head.

Never attempt Come run the N7 series . with us! It's fun! The single bestest way to kncok them gold solos off! Edit: just check my last played date. If we are Origin friends I think you can see that. It's been a long time. FTFY Qui-Gon GlenN7 come bud, sure thins some time off is good here and there, but there's some unfinished business still. dist time for a final push. see, SenorZanahoria just made it to N5 too and our resident 64bit N7 Clinician-Admiral is etting disappointed with the lack of progress EDIT: OP, just to clarify are you after some cheese to get that tick in the box or more of a genuine sense of pride and accomplishemnt? I more or less just want the Banner. P.S. While this topic is still relevant, I am currently downloading ME3 for PC. So I'm not likely to play on PS3 anymore and it'll also likely take me a while to get back here again.

As an aside, OH MY GOD! THIS GAME LOOKS AMAZING ON PC! The most important thing in my opinion is the ability to run by turning the camera and turning it in different directions. W + space + D + Mause Left (direction, not a button) or W + space + A + Mause Right Use it. At least I didn’t see that the console players did the same.

for thoose who aren't afraid by the argus's bad reputation, i made a vid (only silver, cuz the goal wasn't to show any skill, but just to show methods wich, if you execute them properly, can help you, even in the hardest difficulties) about my peek-a-boo technique.
as you can see, with the proper rythm, you can still use all of the argus's DPM but with an massive decrease of the damage taken (because massive decrease of your exposure time).
[the reason being that, during the delay beetween each burst, instead of staying exposed for nothing, you just take cover, and pop out only when sending your burst, the delay beetween each burst being just right enough to peek-a-boo]
of course, it's not perfect: to accomplish that properly you need both to be good at aiming + be very focused to leave your corner before getting surrounded. (cuz if you get surrounded, your cover is no longuer of use).
