Do you need to make a Bethesda account for the PS4 version?

Hi all,

I can't seem to find an answer to this via Google...

I'm interested in buying Rage 2 at some point if reviews are good. I usually game on PC but I have a PS4 Pro for exclusives. I'm considering buying any future games on console to avoid having to deal with their exclusive store on PC.

I know you could avoid Origin on console (not sure if that's still the case today). Is it the same for Zenimax/Bethesda and their bullshit no refunds store?

I MAY also consider buying FO76 super cheap to see the trainwreck for myself out of morbid curiosity IF the PS4 version doesn't require making an account.

Can any console player shed some light on this matter?
