I couldn´t join in eng59land´s lobby yesterday. Just had infinite loading screen. I made a lobby and same thing happened for him. We tried to make public lobby in turn with preset map, enemy, difficulty but either us couldn´t join one´s lobby. Someone else joined in my lobby so it wasn´t completely broken. What causes this and is there anything to fix it? Too much playing with friends and too little with antoneffect & co? Restarting the game didn´t help. I played one game with PUGs, plat geth haz. ghost and don´t wanna do that again. So BSN pls, help me. |

When this crap happens on lolconsole a sign out/sign in usually works. If it continues to Work as Intended TM a hard reset usually does the trick. If that doesn't work:  EDIT: I just remembered this when I saw this question on reddit. You can check your NAT type because a strict/closed, or even moderate, NAT connection would prevent the joining of lobbies of others with similar NAT types. I had this issue a long while ago with CoD4 when I had a moderate/strict NAT and I would black screen or permanently sit at a loading screen. |

This happens only infrequently so I guess it´s just Working as intended. I have to check that NAT type. I also did some research and internet told me that Bioware made 3 options to fix this problem: control, synthesis and destruction. Which one should I choose?

Restarting the game didn´t help It helps me to reconnect to the Internet or change the type of connection 3G / 4G (oh my god I have a modem), but not always. For people with normal internet, restart the router. (the game and origin need to be turned off during this) |

I checked my NAT and there is only 2 options not 3 as youtube video told. Chosen option is more open than the other. Nevertheless I had a same problem tonight when tried to join in eng59land´s lobby.

Closed is utter crap, and not even Banks need that much security. Limited is functional, but will run into issues with P2P connections (such as FTP and Gaming). Open is what you want if you want good connections with people. EDIT: Limited with EA's main connection ports opened in your Router will tend to be good enough for ME3MP (and other MP games on Origin). There's 3 main ports that you essentially NEED open to play EA games.

Definitely try the ports thing, as it will make your life a lot better in-game.

After connection failure he changed to his older pc and it felt like Shepard meeting Garrus for a long time as we were in same lobby. Just like old times. |

It´s a miracle. I managed to play yesterday with eng59land . Guilty part after all must have been his new pc and maybe some backround program in it. After connection failure he changed to his older pc and it felt like Shepard meeting Garrus for a long time as we were in same lobby. Just like old times. yes indeed. Never change a winning team pc.
But nevertheless it would be fine to know what made the difference why there is no chance for antsu to join the lobby and other players can. Maybe
