Seems my new rig with the i5 CPU & 1050ti is giving me frame rate drops as low as 24 now arriving at Citadel when overlooking long stretches, like near elevator and looking down toward where the council meeting takes place.
The further optimization from MEUITM mod isn't doing the trick and honestly not sure I prefer this hi-res texture look to ME1, but might still stick with it for a change. The enbinjector_v0006 also doesn't seem to do anything, though not even sure it's set up right (did enter MassEffect.exe under ProcessName0). Even messed around with CPU affinity. And FPS Counter And Post Processing Effects mod hangs the game at a white screen during start up (maybe it's conflicting with the MEUITM mod).

You may be running out of VRAM? Is it 3GB version or 6GB? Some tools like nVInspector can show this. I'd throw the enb injector away though. Did you enable SSAO and AA methods? (Can be done via Inspector)
Otherwise I remember seeing a possibility to install smaller versions of the MEUITM textures, like 2k or 4k versions. On my 1070OC runnint at 1200p game runs just fantastic until 8xSGSSAA & 8xMSAA - it makes some hiccups, dropped both to 4x and its buttery smooth 60fps all the time. If you havent solved this I'll check my ME1 + mods VRAM footprint in 2 days after my trip.

Then i'd look for some VRAM stats next. Then resource monitor and Disk I/O when loading that particular area. Cant remember if you have SSD or HDD, it makes massive difference. I'm playing it now from SSD, previously with 4k MEUITM textures from HDD and sometimes loading took longish, but on SSD I havent seen much of pop-in.

My operating drive is a 109 gig SSD, big enough to fit ME1 on, but so far have all my games on HDD. Was pondering when to get a 500 gig SSD or new GPU, though so far see no rush for it. Got Anthem running fine enough now, where my main concern was. Not exactly an up to date gamer with enough older games to play, so until the next big new game comes out that interests me, this setup should suffice. And for ME1 the issue isn't that glaring, can still hit 60 fps, just during long stretches of open spaces on the citadel in front is where first noticed these fps drops. Not that big of an issue to someone who played MET mostly on console.

Excellent, found a fix for others who may stumble upon this thread; If using Nvidia, download ENB with Reshade and SweetFX-54-2-3-1552513307 from Nexus mods, extract and place in Origin or Steam>Mass Effect>Binary. Also required for Nvidia users, download OPTIMUS FIX-33227-1-0 from Nexus, extract and place in same folder. That's it. If working, you should notice some text on top left of screen at game start up.

Realistic Cinematic Graphics Reshade Preset mod works too and it's got a look that resonates with me more. Plus easier to turn off to default graphical style and just have it for performance enhancement. Be sure to download both files; ReShade_Setup_4.2.1 and Mass Effect Cinematic Preset-85-1-00 Though only need ReShade Setup if only in it for the performance.

Was getting an shimmer of some small transparent overlay artifacts with Realistic Cinematic Graphics Reshade Preset mod and quickly managed to trace the cause of it on my rig. As I really like the look of this mod, very cinematic indeed. When you extract from the Mass Effect Cinematic Preset-85-1-00 archive the Mass Effect.ini and place it in the Binaries folder, go into it and remove AmbientLight (it's not far down, like on page 2 if you don't want to use Ctrl+F). EDIT - just took these two comparison shots to better notice the difference between with and without AmbientLight. ^ Without AmbientLight ^ With AmbientLight. The small odd transparent artifacts are noticeable against darker backdrops, like the small dash behind Shepard's head and just above the neck. Certainly a bigger difference then originally thought, so might just forget about those small artifacts and play it with AmbientLight. (These pics are without the MEUTIM hi-res texture mod)
