In other news I tried to game yesterday 3 times, and 3 times my ISP decided no game.

I do already have PAW (regular) X, and PAW Bulwark (lol) I. So *theoretically* I could indeed get 10 upgrades to the PAW and have them all be Siphon upgrades!

More likely I'll get mid-rank upgrades to a bunch of URs I don't care about, like the Ushior or something.

Since I know you're all dying to know more about me, my braggadocio, and what I had for breakfast got in my purchases, I'll be sure to keep a list.

Of course. It's a free 40-60 MF per day even if your Strike Teams are all covered in negative traits (as they inevitably become). You almost can't fail to complete all the Bronze and Silver missions every day, and you can get the occasional Gold mission at 50%+ that's worth a shot.

I've also never spent any MF since the release of the game.

I could actually have about 7,000 more (so 27,000+) if I hadn't quit using the mobile app for about 6 months. Grr....

That usually means we rushed too fast to the hack, and enemies spawned there, so better to pull enemies out there before going to there and TANK THE HACK!!1 ... uhh sorry got too excited

Oh right, basic hack / aggro management. I was overthinking it.

I used to grind a lot more, and thus picked up the additional 75 MF per day (30 X 2 challenges, 15 from Platinum Apex mission), but now I'm a slacker.

There are gold farmers for WoW -- are there MF farmers for MEAMP?

Kishock Harpoon Gun 5 & 6 - hate it. Damage now >>> damage over time.

Naladen (concussive) 1 - wow, I had no idea I already had the regular Naladen at 10. Anyway, you usually can't see when you're getting biotic explosions with this thanks to the giant smoke cloud. Speaking of smoke cloud, that's great for trolling your teammates.

N7 Crusader 8 - a pale shadow of its ME3MP self. At least it doesn't fire time traveling bullets any more.

N7 Eagle 10 - it was Good On A Turian (tm) in ME3MP. Haven't used it much in MEAMP.

N7 Eagle (Concussive) 1 - well at least I can see when I'm popping heads with this one.

N7 Hurricane 4 - still one of the best "pistols" in the M3 series. Awesome on characters who can get in close and then unload the entire clip, like the Asari Huntress.

N7 Valiant 7 & 8 - a totally unremarkable sniper rifle.

N7 Valkyrie 4 - it's... Good On A Turian (tm)?

Piranha 4 - totally outclassed by the Shorty, right?

Rozerad 5 - best of the "shoot lots of bullets" pistols, right?

Shorty 6 & 7 - the Incisor of shotguns. I need to get better at headshots with this, because it's a beast.

Silhesh 2 - another "shoot lots of bullets" pistol, this time with tracking, that... never seems to do anything useful.

Soned 8 & 9 - any gun that requires you to stand out in the open while it charges up had better do a ton of damage, and I just don't feel like the Soned does enough. (Obviously, in Siphon it's better, but....)

Sovoa 3 & 4 - objectively not that good, but it's one of the few guns in MEAMP that actually feels like a space alien weapon. Fun pew pew.

Ushior 8 - I made fun of this a lot upthread, but it's actually a good gun for classes that want to strip shields quickly, like the Asari Adept.

So there you have it. The ones I'm actually happy about: Hurricane, Rozerad, and Shorty x2, or 4 out of 20. Feels about right for the RNG in this game!

I've been using the Naladen (Concussive) on the Human Infiltrator quite a bit. It's a solid gun. I find that I tend to fire it more slowly than I have to, because I'm unconsciously waiting for the hit and smoke cloud before I refire... but the refire delay is actually much faster than that! So I've been training myself to use it at Valiant-speed shots and not at Black Widow-speed shots.

Since yesterday's Challenge involved Zero waves, I got a lot of practice standing in the usual sniping spot and aiming down towards the LZ. When the Outlaws or Kett go to mantle over the low wall there, if you time the shot just right you can get some crazy ragdoll effects. I didn't manage to blow any of them over the side, but I came close.

For extra smoke cloud fun I take the Scorpion (Siphon) as my backup weapon. Yesterday during Hacks, I did have some swear words lobbed my way. You couldn't see a damn thing in the Hack circle, LOL!
