Full disclosure I only watched the first 20 mins to catch the BGS portion but that was more, way more, than enough.
The irony in opening with talking about how much they "care" about the customer then immediately jumping into highlighting two of the biggest and most blatant cash grab releases in recent gaming industry memory. Todd can't be thick enough to not realize how that must have come off, is he? Then nothing else, just done. No Starfield footage. No TES6 hype. Nothing.
What have these guys been doing since 11/11/11? For crying out loud.
I used to be such a huge Bethesda fan girl its kinda sad to watch their E3 shows now and just sit there shaking my head at how far my opinion of the studio has fallen. Sad thing is I'm not even surprised at how disconnected from reality Pete and Todd obviously are. Just wow.

Pathetic as expected.
In their defense, most if not all conferences were pretty pathetic also. Take one game from each one (if at all) and the rest was probably meh.
BTW, they stated before E3 they wouldn't talk about Starfield or TESVI so we can't play ignorance here. That alone was proof it was going to be shit presentation.

At least FO76 is finally getting NPCs and some RPG interactions.
So that game is in a better spot than Anthem right now. Too bad I'm on vacation and can't make use of the free trial week. I'm still sort of curious of how it plays.
We'll see Starfield footage the same year they release it I believe, so probably in 2 years or something...
Yeah it's annoying how long it takes them to make games on their crappy engine. Starfield has to offer amazing fresh gameplay or I don't get why it all takes so long.
On the one hand I'm all for taking their time to do the things they envision but fucking hell...
TES6 especially feels like they want to milk ESO as long as possible before they release it at some point. God knows when FO5 will arrive now that they plan to keep FO76 running forever. Two online cash cows keep the money rolling in. No need to hurry the singleplayer now. The longer the wait the more likely people are to give the online versions a shot. Can't say that's altogether a bad business strategy I'm afraid...

Shitty show. Mostly about DLCs and other extensions on stuff that is already out. Even Doom Eternal kinda looks exactly the same as the last one.
The paid audience clappers and cheerers were disturbing and annoying. And the only time there was actual silence in the audience waas when Todd at least mentioned Starfield. Barely anyone was clapping because everyone was just waiting for him to continue and say "and TES6". Then all hell broke loose.
And this ladies and gentlemen is why every single IP in film and games is milked way past the point of exhaustion and we get part 27 of the old stuff instead of new IPs and ideas. What a bunch of sheep!
Am I really the only one who is way more curious about Starfield than yet the next TES?

Starfield is either going to blow our minds or be the biggest disappointment of a Bethesda game ever.
I guess it depends on how greedy Zenimax has become. At this point I can easily picture Starfield as yet another Creation Club update nightmare for modding, plus MTX everywhere. This is where AAA gaming is right now. Every single publisher does this shit now.
Creation Club alone makes me not want to buy another Bethesda game again. Playing FO4 has turned into mod update paranoia. Every time I launch the game I pray it loads without activating the Steam launcher that forces a game update. This shit is destroying modding. And that is on purpose.
I'm willing to cut the actual devs some slack. And I don't hate Todd Howard like a lot of people these days. But that's no good if we have another EA/Bioware situation on our hands. We'll see in a couple of years when Starfield is released. Monetize your stupid online games if you must. But fuck with the singleplayer games any more than is already the case and I'm OUT.

Why dont you deactivate the auto-update for FO4? Sure would be nice. I hate forced updates. It breaks mods because the Fallout 4 Script Extender won't work until that is updated for the newer version of the game.
