Was going to post this in modding subforum but was unsure. So I still have Eden Prime Resistance Movement active in the Journal. Was going to go to Eden Prime and finish it, then I got hit with harsh reality of BioWare's SHITTY, linear game design which should have gone extinct at least 15 years ago. Especially when you're making a mostly "open" game.
Anyway, i'm calling all freaks of the Save Editor that can tell me exactly what I need to do to fix this. To the best of its ability, anyway. Some folks say you can only remove it from the Journal? If so, I suppose i'll take that instead of nothing. But I would prefer to get it completed. And gain the War Assets.
I ALMOST went to a save from 20+ hours ago... almost. But I just can't bring myself to do it. My 16 year old self would've done it, but I just can't. That's way too much to replay.
Help would be really much appreciated. I'm still speechless about how linear certain things like this are. ZERO backtracking. Sheesh...

I'd just forget about it. If it was that important to you to make sure that you completed everything and knowing that MET game design is not open world; it should have been important enough to you to check the journal right after finishing Eden Prime (so that you'd just be redoing that single mission to clear it). In the overall outcome of the game, it really has no bearing. The war assets that completing it gives you are pretty minimal and, according to the Wiki, are actually the same whether your gathered 2 pieces of intel or all 3 (i.e.= +25 under the Alliance WA category) and there are no other awards for doing it that I'm aware of.
PS: Lots of open-world games I've played don't actually allow you to re-enter a main mission area after you've completed the applicable main mission.
