There was a request to add a sound notification option for shoutbox updates. Currently this feature is available in the <LAB> & <<EXPERIMENTAL>> themes.
A checkbox at the bottom of the shoutbox turns on/off a small beep noise whenever there's a shoutbox update.
I haven't yet expanded it to any other themes, since the request was just aimed at the LAB theme with it's hideaway shoutbox, but if people want it, I can enable it elsewhere.
