Hi Nightscrawl , This is a discussion thread so I don't think there is anything wrong with you posting a link to your DA fanfic here as part of Dragon Age Day's #FanFicFriday. I'd encourage you also to submit it to the DA Day website (if you don't have twitter) so that we can repost it to our other social media and possibly get you a few more readers. For anyone else who might be following this thread, please feel free to post Dragon Age Day related things here and submit them to the DA Day website as well! I would be very happy if people are moved to say anything in this thread about any of the tweets I've reposted here. If you'd like to discuss any of the fan art, fan fic or anything like that, please do! I have occasionally tried to encourage people to leave comments when it's been organic to do so but no one seems to.

These stories are meant to show what Dragon Age: Inquisition can't show for the developing relationship. They take place between significant game events or missions and don't contradict in-game canon.

(I could have made an educated guess, but I wanted to get you the most correct information I could. Here is @imasithduh's reply. (She is the person who came up with the idea for DA Day last year, and got a bunch of volunteers to team up with her to make it happen.) "We prefer PG-13 to fit with the 'fade-to-black' of the games. I'm okay with RT-ing 'smutty literature' provided that it's tagged as such when it's posted to our Fanfic Friday thread, because then, duh, if you don't want smut you can't say you [weren't] warned. However, for submissions for the website, since it'll take more time we don't have to tag things as smut, it's better to go 'fade-to-black'. I hope that makes sense."I hope that helps you figure out which of your fics might be okay to submit to the DA Day website. Thanks for your question!

I like their DA2 onward iterations best because they more closely resemble warped versions of the races they’re derived from, and because they have less of a sense of malice, they feel more like the mostly hollow agents of an implacable plague and less like knockoff orcs. |
