This game means the world to me. As a kid, was never into fantasy games and mostly played traditional games (Smash, Sonic, etc.) on my GameCube. Then, when my father bought me a PS3 for Christmas, my choice in games would change. (1/7)

My father bought me a game I had never played before, Dragon Age: Origins. I was confused as to why he bought it, since I didn’t play games like Dragon Age (RPGs). But as a 13 year old boy, I wanted to play a game that had a “M Rating”. (2/7)

Not wanting to upset my father (he didn’t have much money), I played the game. That moment changed my life. I had never played a game that made me question my own choices. It made me think about other people, their feelings, and how my choices would affect others. (3/7)

It genuinely helped me become a more thoughtful and caring individual. I began to love the fantasy genre, obsessing over stories that involve dragons, swords, and spells. I began writing my own adventures that lead to my passion of playing D&D. (4/7)

The Dragon Age line of video games means the world to me. I have bought Dragon Age: Origins on every possible console and spent $200 on Inquisition’s special edition set. I have played through Dragon Age: Origins stories 72 times (not every one was completed). (5/7)

Dragon Age: Origins is one of my absolute favorite games. I think that anybody who has ever thought about playing an RPG, should play this at least one time. It has given me many memories that I hold dear and will never forget. (6/7)

I know the game has its ups and downs, as any game does. But I will still love this game forever. This game, I feel, is an important staple in gaming history. I hope to see something as impactful as Origins in Dragon Age 4. (7/7)
