DAO showed me that games were amazing potential for storytelling. Two Wardens have my heart: Leona Aeducan and Keagan Tabris. Leona knocked down hurlocks and fell in love with Alistair. Keagan charms everyone with his chaos, and loves Zevran, even if he hasn't admitted it yet.

For DAO Day, gonna rock the Grey Warden hoodie. DAI was my first DA game, but if my Lavellan hadn't noticed Threnn, idk if I would have played.
Canon Warden is Dawn Amell (mage). She marries Leliana. I like to think the two of them marry Cassandra and Natalie Trevelyan.

Here we go. She exists largely on PS3. I need to resume this playthrough at some point because very soon I am going to have to write Queen Anora in Requisitions.



I played Mass Effect before Dragon Age. Scifi has always been more of my jam. Everyone was like: You should play DA. I'd been pretty turned off by fantasy but DA's inclusive approach to storytelling grabbed me (what if instead of can't). Here's to another 10 years.

My Warden was Amelya Aeducan. She was soft but fierce & cared so much for others. Romanced Alistair, best friends with Oghren & Wynne. Didn't get on with Zevran too well, but still saw him as a friend.

She died for Ferelden, for her friends so that they could live their lives ❤️

When I interviewed at BioWare, DA:O had JUST come out 2-3 days ago. I hadn't played it yet, but I could feel the energy in the studio as people realized they'd make something special. Years later, DA had a huge impact on me when I got to write for DAI. Here's to you, Origins!

I'm not exaggerating about that either: the atmosphere in a studio really does change during a release day. Everyone's looking at feedback, or talking among themselves how X or Y is being received. (Or uh...working on patches because games now are huge.) And etc.
