Hello all , I recently came back to mass effect 3 , 2 days now and i get the "system offline: unable to retrieve galaxy war status". I can play multiplayer just fine, create or join public games. Did they shutdown the galaxy feature or is it on my end only ?

Bump. As far I can see, atm, the connection between ME3 and Galaxy at War is not working on neither of the platforms: PC, XBox ( garrusfan1 was the first to point it out on XBone) or PS3 ( clips7 confirmed it). Afaics, you can still play MP (tested on lolorigin and xbone), though it will not change the Galactic readiness  ... Will they pull the plug soon?  I hope they'll have the common sense to announce it at least a month before... P.S. You can still increase your galactic readiness on the Galaxy at war map on n7hq...  P.P.S. And the Galactic Readiness in SP is at 50% though your local ones reflect the ones showed on the Galaxy at War map on n7hq (i.e. for me 94% x 4 times and 96% one time). Will check to see what ending I get in SP but later... Pinging crashsuit... Think you can drop a line to BroJo about this, pretty please?  |

I don't plan on retiring any time soon - but this has made me think about some things. If we (Shepard) defeated the Reapers then how are the Collectors that we are fighting being Possessed? Is this proof that the Reapers are still out there? Is IT theory real?
Also, I think that the ME3 MP version should have some of Harbinger's voice files from ME2 dubbed in for Collector fights. After all of the trolling we got from Harby it would put a smile on my face.
We will find a way. Releasing this form.

I'd have thought there would have been some sort of announcement if they were going to take Galaxy At War offline permanently.

Under Documents>Bioware>Mass Effect 3>BIOGame>Config. Rename "GamerSettings.ini" to "old_GamerSettings.ini"
This worked for me.

It was actually behaving normally, i.e. logging in and increasing the readiness for each completed MP mission, a couple days ago.

Good to know it's working then. I did also mention the profile issue at the same time, that doesn't seem to ever have been fixed does it? I checked a couple of my profiles, my main looks fine but one of my alts is busted, some of the info is blank still.
