Almost the same thing as they did after the failed Thessia mission when they turned into a bunch of idiots as were thinking only about how to comfort whining Liara instead of doing something useful (except for 2 companions only - Javik and Sam). During Omega DLC probably were thinking how to comfort someone else, again, instead of useful things.

I think they did the same as they did during the Collector attack on the Normandy in ME2, meaning they crammed every last one of them into a Kodiak and took a joyride into the middle of no where while Joker and EDI could finally turn the volume of the radio all the way up on the Normandy without anyone complaining. That is until Joker goes "shit shit shit!"

Omega DLC

To be fair. That part that is not well explained turned good for the actuall happening. Omega DLC tries to be a mass effect mission with all of the best. Decisions with an impact on present persons, it is crucial how Shepards reacts that is leading to another outcome. For a Bioware dlc it is a big deal. The Omega DLC even tries to use the remaining ME2 flags related with Omega. For the first time Shepards class has an impact on your ways to solve a problem. Nothing earth-shattering, but important at the appropriate moment. Like said omega isolate the player from the Normandy plot, however, that done by each Bioware dlc til now. But all this cool moments you remembered at the good times from Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect (Shepard is not Yammering or Stumbles over something and falls. Every time I play ME3 and the Omega DLC I can see Shepard again how I loved him before ME3) were done by that team that 'ruined' Mass Effect with Andromeda.
Then there is this Citadel Dlc done by the original Mass Effect team with his changed writers. Citadel DLC should be a 'Thank you' for the fans and a final Closure. However, it is a summary for everything that went wrong with ME3, for me. Except Tuchanka and Rannoch. This Scenarios were Mass Effect. They were influenced by decisions in the past, gave the player some ways to influence the outcome and almost everything is right. Shepard could have acted better but that was the mentioned general problem with Shepard in whole ME3. But from priority Earth and Citadel 1, as well from Citadel 3 to Earth 2 the game fails in game design for RPGs, a story driven Bioware game and Character Design. No actually decisions except for this RBG ending. No player influence to solve any problem or let Shepard deal with it. This same Mentality is persued by the Citadel DLC and his little Story Arc. You don't have any point in the Story where it leads to another plot path. The DLC avoids all situations where the player has to decide something or could questioning sth. only at the very end the player gets a choice that is not a choice. What was the point of that? What was the problem to add Shepards Clone to the party? The whole DLC is written for after you get Miranda in the main plot. The Shepard Clone would only be existing for the Normandy party in this DLC, a short talk on the Normandy, some bizarre comments from the crew and then a +1 in the final battle.
Well, that was my little impression from the last hours from MET. About what did Normandy crew when Shepard works alone, we can create memes.

- space hamster is watching the movie G-Force This reminds me of the flaw of cheating into ME3 using a fake game ending to import. No space hamster! I had to use Gibbed's save game editor on ME3 to edit him back in. It's too depressing to not have the comfort of my hamster.
