As long as it was farmed out to another studio and not taking time away from DA4, I'd be absolutely delighted. (I'd be even more delighted by a remake that made DAO less brown, gave DA2 more than one cave and unified things like the look of the qunari and Grey Warden uniforms across all three games, but lets not run before we can walk.)

Nope, mainly because of regardless of how it was handled the internet would turn into a burning mess of meltdowns and false outrage to generate clicks.
The only thing I really would want to see is a new installer for Dragon Age: Origins for the PC since the current one just doesn't work for me and it prevents me from playing the game since it hasn't installed right in years.

I would really not be interested in remasters for the DA games. Maybe a porting to newer consoles yes, but nothing more. But if a DAO remaster was in the making, I'd hope for a restyling to have more consistence with the newer games. Ferelden have a much different style in both architecture and armour than in Inquisition (expecially the rogue armours were terrible!).
I'd want a remaster/remake of Jade Empire and KotOR before a DA/ME one. JE and KotOR are a headache to play on newer PCs.

I'd rather they concentrate on DA4. But I wouldn't say no if it works as a "placeholder" to help tide us over til 2022.... So would I tbh. Though if I were to remaster any of Biowares games I'd be more inclined to do Dragon Age than Mass Effect as I don't think ME really needs it. Because even by today's standards the ME trilogy's graphics look pretty decent the only dodgy part about the trilogy really is more ME1' s gameplay but I don't think it's worth redoing the whole trilogy just for that tbh. Whereas DAO and DA2 are a little weak in both graphics and gameplay in places. DAO moer than DA2 I would say though. Don't get me wrong I still enjoy DAO and DA2 but graphically and interface wise DAO in partcular definitely feels a bit dated.

Not before DA4, no. Also, asking for a remaster of a 11 year old game is just cheap. Like it's not been that long to require a remaster.

Its not that I cannot get the game to run, its just each time I play the game I have to mess around with Windows Services and other things outside the game to activate them to get the game to start so by the time I get all that done I don't want to play it anymore. Otherwise I get issues for it won't load my saves for I don't have authorization for the content I own.

Nah. One, I don't want it to take away from the time needed to make DA4. We've been waiting for that long enough. Two, I wouldn't be content with just a remaster, I'd want a full-on remake with extra content like the cut origins. (I really wanted to play an Avvar, dammit.)

I think there is a patch I ermember downloading that fixes those issues a 1.5 patchor something I think it's called as I remember befoer I downloaded the patch I couldn't get the DLC to verify either. Can' t remembe rwher I got th epatch from thou8gh as it was ages ago but I think it was from one of Bioware's sites. I've got it on one of my flashdrives so don't need to download it again just need to reinstall it when I reinstall DAO on my system. Which I will have to do again before I can play it on my new PC.

Realistically, a re-release with updated graphics is likely all we will get.

BioWare has stated that they’re not interested in remasters, but I’m thinking that if all the games require is a graphical upgrade, couldn’t EA basically farm that job out to one of the many other studios they own and have not yet shuttered? Personally, I’d be down for a remaster of either DAO or DA2.
I'd buy both if the graphics have sufficiently improved . I like the mods for DA2.

No. Playing as a melee character was AWFUL in group v. group combat. You could not simply swing your sword, and you hit what you hit. YOUR DUDE WOULD BACK UP, AND TRY TO LINE HIMSELF UP AT THE RIGHT ANGLE. WHILE ENEMIES ARE BEATING THE PISS OUT OF YOU. GAAHH! I get vivid, painful flashbacks from the dwarf city.

You are right if you played a melee character in DA:O.. which I never did for that very same reason. However, in DA2, the melee character had the Auto-Attack feature and that meant a hit every time.... loved this feature since I could now play a melee character.

All of this is very true. Though I got to be honest, being a warrior in all of the games is fairly blase compared to the other classes. Except Archer, which id argue is worse in Origins than a warrior personally.

Quite true about the Archer but DA2 is the only game that I can play as a warrior. The Auto-Attack feature is missing from DA:I of which many were the complaints. A truly asinine Bio decision.
So, with the exception of DA2, I only played as a mage (most of the time) or Archer.
DA4 combat mechanics will change from previous games...it's something I expect because... reasons. However, I wish it includes Auto-Attack, even as an optional player feature.
