Nah. if they were gonna re release the older games i'd rather they just do a remake over a remaster. Dao's graphics were bad but there was also a lot more wrong with the game that would need to be fixed to make it more accessible to today's audience like animations and the unbalanced combat. It would be a waste otherwise.

All of this is very true. Though I got to be honest, being a warrior in all of the games is fairly blase compared to the other classes. Except Archer, which id argue is worse in Origins than a warrior personally.
Quite true about the Archer but DA2 is the only game that I can play as a warrior. The Auto-Attack feature is missing from DA:I of which many were the complaints. A truly asinine Bio decision.
So, with the exception of DA2, I only played as a mage (most of the time) or Archer.
DA4 combat mechanics will change from previous games...it's something I expect because... reasons. However, I wish it includes Auto-Attack, even as an optional player feature.
It's funny, I always felt playing anything but a Mage Hawke is a mistake in Dragon Age 2. For some reason the story just fits better as Mage Hawke.

I'd rather they wait until the series is done before they do anything like that. That way they can take the best combat / system elements from each game to use across all of them and the lore, while still leaving things unrevealed early on, can be consistent from start to finish.

Honestly I'd settle for an updated patch for Origins that fixes the memory leak bug. Be nice to do a play through where I don't have to exit the game and reload every time the loading screens get longer and longer

I don't have any interests in remasters either. Origins is still my favorite of the bunch, and if I want to play it again (soon...), I will just pop it into my PS3 and have fun. My consoles still run fine, so I just play the original versions (such as Final Fantasy VII's discs on my PS2).

Not really for myself, but having it easily available on newer consoles could be nice to introduce friends to the series. (A remaster/port to the Switch might work well there too, and the portability could be nice.)

Honestly I'd be thrilled to be able to put my PS3 out to pasture if I could get the same old game to work on my current console. I'm always afraid one day this thing will cough its last breath and that's that.
