New/Second account for PC? How to?

You have to do both things, just in reverse order.

I've done this with ME3, so MEA should presumably be the same...

1) Make a new Origin account (new account email, ID, password, etc.)
2) Re-purchase MEA while on that account.

To sign-in/out:
In Origin App. Menu>Origin>Sign-out. It'll then automatically ask you to sign in again. Use the other account info.
You can also do this from the taskbar, r-click the Origin, sign-out.

They will actually share the same MEA install. When you go to dl the game, it will futz around for a second, then finish.

The game is taunting me with more Phalanx but at least I now have Avenger X and Charger VII

No, but the RNG has been actually great compared to when I started in .. was it April or May 2017, anyway and the balance is feeling quite perfect for beginning. Except for that Phalanx.
I now have Reegar Carbine I, Avenger S I and Charger X. Really fast just by buying the bronze packs. Also got Asari Adept, Krogan Vanguard and Turian Soldier already. I havent played much because I first actually forgot the account for some time after playing, had so much else to do (music and work). Now after few games I'm already handling Platinum quite ok. No Siphons needed but thankfully there are some high level players who know to revive

I have quickly realized how fun this is actually. The balance is so good for the weapons and powers now even at APEX 2500 its easy to wreck everything until Gold. On Gold it takes a bit more effort but its nothing compared to the Apr/May 2017. Daymn this is fun

The guns I dismissed bad are now working very well, like Reegar (II now) and even Katana makes a good dent on Silver.

I also saw one APEX 900 guy with PAW I... and a lot of people already had Hurricanes with lower APEX than this alt. Drop rate seems to be good. Got Human Juggernaut I last night.

I've been just buying mostly the Basic Packs (Bronze) and random ammo mod + expert when back from Gold or few Silvers. Also I like to open packs

Way back when, I did an experiment to see how far I could get with a copy of the 10-hour trial edition of MEAMP. I found that as long as you know your game mechanics, it definitely felt more forgiving of being under-geared than ME3MP is. Probably partly due to the difference in armor DR, and partly due to the ease of mobility and repositioning. I was wrecking gold all day long with a combination of power spam and a mid-level charger with priming ammo.
