I start the game and load the main menu, after some time I get the error message Error retrieving Anthem live service data and/or error loading pilot data. The intro and main menu reloads and the behavior repeats as in an endless loop with the same errors. Is there any fix or workaround for this? I tried to change language of the game, fixed the game and reinstalled origin but nothing helped.

antsu … perusing the Anthem forum … technical sub forum, some folks have met with success by removing players from their blacklist. I don't have anyone on my blacklist … on occasion get the error loading pilot data and error loading live data … annoying and aggravating, but less frequent than a year ago and certainly not continuous. Generally a sign of needing EA server maintenance when it ticks up in frequency. EA is supposedly looking into the issue and it may not fix your game, but worth a try if you have a blacklist. Other than that, I didn't see much there that could help you. Not a fan of the EA help or the game forum … generally crappy search function in the latter and general (outsourced) incompetence in the former.

The Origin service has a LOT of issues at the moment. After the last update (a week or so ago) Origin has been acting bad for many people with all sorts of issues. In my case it's constantly minimizing/pausing games for no reason and none of the suggested fixes worked for me. Others can't install or stop the client at all.
I guess the problem is serious since EA hasn't fixed it yet while it definitely has a big impact on their cash cow franchises like Madden and FIFA. I guess we just have to wait a little bit more. Which is ok, I got tons of Steam games waiting

A weird bug indeed. I couldn´t play in few days at all but since yesterday everything´s been working fine.
