Why bother when it comes to BioWare, no matter what they say people won't believe them and they are lying. How many times has BioWare tried to say something and nobody believes them? Even look with Anthem when they were talking their MTX strategies and how it was going to work and the amount of claims that lootboxes were going to be added post release. Anything around BioWare is a conspiracy theory that people try to read encyclopedias worth of information into a single tweet. To be fair, to have lootboxes implemented, you'd need to have a game and how were we to actually know that there wasn't one? Honestly since they said publicly given them the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise by either an announcement that they are adding them or the actual implementation. BioWare (and I don't think EA) has added lootbox mechanics post launch, but have added MTX which Anthem already was announced to have.

They did, just not in the way you wanted. For there was content in the game based on what you did in the other games.

They did, just not in the way you wanted I'd expect people to stay dead, when I kill them, but apparently it doesn't work that way. So basically, it's only in the way I wanted, if it coincides with what the writers wanted. Which boils down to no, my choices weren't respected.

Are you talking about Leliana Yes. It’s pretty misleading to [sort of] cite this as an example in a Mass Effect thread, since your being purposefully vague would make it seem like you were just talking about Mass Effect, which is typically where the “choice matters” discussion is usually focused.

Even so. Living up to the expectations of the audience to some level, so as to avoid something like the ending backlash, should have been the bare minimum the game needed to achieve. Regardless of what I personally expected and honestly, fuck me and my expectations, it should have effectively satisfied the audience enough, not to burn their community forums down. At some point, we all have to agree, no matter how Bioware decided to handle the choices and to what degree they achieved it or not, it was indeed that bad.

In other words, it's not coming, so don't blame us. That's nice. Yeah, in other words. "Give me clicks, clicks, clicks. While you believe this." I find it an interesting juxtaposition that so many people when it comes to BioWare are skeptical of anything BioWare says, but some random YouTuber becomes 100% more believable. I'm still giving him the benefit of the doubt, solely 'cause of the art of book. You don't see an art of book without there being a game to go along with it. Not only that, there is new finished concept art included to. I do have a short leash on him though. Say, if it's not even announced by October then it's not real.

But, come on you killed her and she was still around. For me they still respected my choice for in the game the queen was either dead or captured. It might have been done with shortcuts, but it still didn't alter the choice I made. The one where I would say they didn't respect my choices is the Human Council representative. For they give you a single line of dialogue to justify why they changed the outcome of your choice so they could make Uldina into a bad guy by having Anderson walking away. I guess it really boils down to what you think of by respecting your choice, for me it means not altering the decision I made in the game and why I don't like the idea put forth to continue Shepard's storyline for that would be disrespecting my choice of outcomes for the game when so many people make the claim of just making one of the ending canon. I still say the majority of the time BioWare does a decent job of respecting the choices players made.

If we haven't heard anything by N7 Day 2020 then we'll have to wait until next major conventions and/or shows next year. Unless they announce it at the Game Awards in December, but I find that unlikely since it's not a new game.
The same here, and even if they did announce and release a MET remaster chances are it won't be the magical cure all silver bullet that a lot of people think it will be that will "fix" all the supposed problems with Mass Effect as a franchise and I believe that there is a excellent chance that a MET Remaster will be a huge backfire and do more harm than good to the franchise as a whole.
Because lets be perfectly honest they're aren't going to change the combat in ME1 to make it like the superior combat in MEA, they aren't going to Ash and Kaiden bisexual in all 3 games, they aren't going to add more graphic sex scenes in all 3 games, or "restore cut content" or change the endings to ME3 to give Shepard and company a happy ending because that would take a massive REMAKE in the same vein of Resident Evil 2 or Final Fantasy VII and not a remaster.
This will be a graphic update with MAYBE some minor bugs fixed for the PS5, XSX, and new PCs and that is it anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.

Agreed and the few places on the internet I still visit when this is brought up a lot of people are delusional in thinking their personal wishlists for what should change with the game will be done. I expect a lot of very vocal disappointment if they release a remaster of Mass Effect and I don't see how that helps the IP at all. Who knows maybe EA thinks it would be a good idea since there probably isn't going to be a new BioWare game for a few more years and COVID delayed the release of a new one and a remaster would be a stop gap measure on the new consoles. I just don't see how it would get a positive reception for first the players will be angry and then the press will give them the articles they want to see.

So this popped up on reddit. Apparently it has got something to do with MEUITM and it is a contribution from BLUR studios. I ... I don't know. This is weird. Why would BLUR be working on MEUITM at any capacity, why Jack, who is a literal nothing-burger in the community and only exists for that single game and ... just why? Maybe Blur studios are fans of the work and decided to flex a little? I can understand someone from the studio being independently involved in the project, sure, but the official studio logo is on there, meaning the studio was involved in some official capacity. A little unusual. Man, Jack was so cool. I miss her.

Agreed something doesn't seem right about the logos for I don't see any company putting their official company logos or endorsement on something that isn't officially sanctioned by the original owners or IP holders. The middle model in the picture, as well as the one on the left, subsequently, seem to be wearing Jack's bra model from the video here, though at the t=20s mark. So some model work was passed on. So Blur studio was involved in some capacity.

They do look nice... ...though I never really liked that visor Its a pity, the rest of the outfit is the my favorite but the visor looked to cyberpunk as opposed to space travel sci-fi to me. It takes away from moments when the character is emoting and having a heavy moment. Like watching someone have a meaningful heart to heart in a film but one of the characters is wearing these goofy sunglasses.
