I wanted to open this question up to the forum.
I’m getting back into creating lore videos and I’m working on a script for a Grey Warden video. I’m having trouble finding a source. I have a vivid memory of a post by David Gaider (I don’t remember if it was a forum post or twitter) indicating that in light of the fate of the broodmothers female Wardens were given the option to kill themselves in other ways rather than heading into the Deep Roads alone. I can’t seem to find this in the wiki or verified in any codex entries.
Does this ring any bells with anyone? Or am I suffering from a false memory?

I think someone on Twitter asked one of the writers if some female grey wardens chose to take their lives instead of heading to the deep roads and risking becoming brood mothers, one of the writers replied that it was an interesting idea to explore however it was never mentioned in the games.
