The melee on the Batarian Vanguard is reminiscent of ME3MP. I was pleasantly surprised. The Salarian Operator doesn't look like much, but looks can deceive. If I could swap out a power or an ability for each, I would replace it with something like... Fortify. I find Shield Boost for the Salarian Operator somewhat ineffective.
It's too bad the overhyped packs you buy don't include an option to swap out a power or ability for a particular character and replace it with another of your choosing. Imagine the almost endless character variations. I would fork over the credits for that. The more I play the Angara Avenger, the more I appreciate this character.

Shield Boost on the Operator can work over 11 seconds with a recharge time of about 10 seconds. That's constant restore throughout the cooldown. I've been in love with Batarian Vanguard since the beginning, just like how he says "Smoked them" and "FIREBALL!" in evil way   Vortex Annihilation field and just evade from cover to cover works on Platinum also, nothing gets close, but you can get close to smash the enemy faces! Ahhahahaha.. oops sorry. Salarian Operator, as vanelsa said, can be really good debuff&shield regen for the group. |

I have to add I didnt much like Asari Sentinel in the beginning but nowadays she's my #1 to go character. So fast, so tough and can self detonate twice (with ammomod) with one throw.

I have to add I didnt much like Asari Sentinel in the beginning but nowadays she's my #1 to go character. So fast, so tough and can self detonate twice (with ammomod) with one throw. I'm playing her and the Krogan Vanguard a lot these days to level up my Health and Shield Delay Regeneration Bonus Stat, which is at 7 (others at nine or ten).

Respec to a melee build focused on eliminating armored targets like Berserkers and Saboteurs on Platinum. Lower the recharge rate so you can Avenger Strike around the map. It’s fun to just target those enemies and eliminate them as they respawn on the map.

Still don’t like Human Engineer though. I see people post up good numbers with that kit in Platinum, but it never feels like I can do anything broken with it.

Atleast the Artificer can use the CC of the initial hit of Invasion to get off some cryobeaming, otherwise it's just really situation, and depending on team-mates getting the aggro so you can debuff stuff. It's been a while since I played platinum, but I seem to recall the Artificer being one of my go-tos.

Batarian Vanguard was saved by Siphon weapons. Easily one of my favourites to play now. A lot of fun to melee combo and flak cannon crowds  I had issues with the Turian Havoc until I discovered hovering with a shorty. It's pretty dirty. |

Asari Sentinel/Huntress is easy...

Batarian Vanguard was saved by Siphon weapons. Easily one of my favourites to play now. A lot of fun to melee combo and flak cannon crowds I had issues with the Turian Havoc until I discovered hovering with a shorty. It's pretty dirty. I prefer the Piranha with the Turian Havoc Trooper. Can't aim very well with Shorty on console.
