Okay I started a imported Vanguard in ME2 and I will use this Vanguard build from this forum ... * Incendiary Ammo: Inferno Ammo * Cryo Ammo: Squad Cryo Ammo * Charge: Heavy Charge * Assault Mastery: Champion * Bonus Power: Heavy Slam * Bonus Weapon: Assault Rifle * Heavy Weapon: Arc projector / Collector Particle Beam Now I understand that getting "Heavy Charge" and "Champion" should be maxed first. But what about the other three powers? Should I go for Squad Cryo and Inferno first and then max Slam to Heavy?
EDIT: I just looked at slam on the ME Wiki, and wouldn't Crippling Slam be better for a Vanguard instead of Heavy Slam?

General practice for the Vanguard:
1. Charge
2. Passive
3. Incendiary Ammo
After that, with your build, I recommend:
4. Cryo Ammo
5. Slam
I prefer Crippling Slam myself, in case I miss the warp bomb. Crippling slam will leave the enemy incapacitated for a few more seconds if I miss the warp bomb. (Warp bomb = slam + Thane/Miranda Warp)
