This is now the hottest topic in ME3 EA Answers forum. To their credit, it was pinned (but come to think of it, I believe that is done by user moderators). To EA/Origin's discredit, this is an unacceptable way to answer customer issues. This has become their stock reply on any technical issues when their L1 "do a repair/reinstall" fails, i.e. "we no longer support game, suggest checking with user community at ea.answers.com". And the game lately has had a lot of issues with licenses failing. I had such issues with a new alt-account. Fortunately, my recent purchase of the DLC pkg on my main went fine, but others lost access to the game. The Steam issue seems related. But to you Steam fans: can you explain the love for this app? I have it, but barely use it. Why would I repurchase a game I already have, just to have it on Steam as well? Honest question. |

2 reasons I can think of.
1: Lolrigin.
2: For an alt account.
Many of us have one, I do, but as much as Origin sucks I'd rather keep the alt account on it.

The Steam one still requires running Origin (which is creating one of the issues), so again, any benefit?
BTW, my alt-ME3 account was only $3 ... and that's $3 more than my "original" PC purchase*, LOL!
* Actually, my original original is on XBOX ... which cost considerably more (bought on game release).
