After playing 2 stealth games back to back I wanted to just shoot somethings in the face and I didn't want to wait to download a different game so I played MEA a bit.
One lots of the weapon augs its hard to say what they do or how they will effect the weapon.
Two the powers section jesus be a bit clearer. As a example, throw it says under power and fore boosts, boost all damage and force.
under the passive it says boost power damage or boost combo damage under combo detonators,
under shockwave just boost damage.
I assume these mean different things, well all damage and power damage/combo damage at least. All damage being the powers base damage and combo damage, power damage being just the powers base damage but not combo damage, combo booster just damage from combos. But just damage means either just the powers base damage or both combos and power damage. Now it is shockwave and therefore must suck to keep it to the lore of ME2 and 3, so its probably just base power damage its changing.
The game is easy enough even on insanity that I never really paid much attention to any of this before and got through it fine. But I actually did bother to read it this time and its a bit irritating how unclear this stuff is. Like even if its just increasing the powers base damage, be clear this 25% boost is it 25% increase from the current rank 4 damage or the rank 1 damage. Similarly if you add gear that boosts damage how does it work math wise. I'm sure its out on the googles somewhere, but it should be clear from within the game
Still is it too much to ask to make things clear so players know what the heck they are buying. Weapon augs I get might be a bit harder, so if there is a MEA2 give us a test room and test weapons.

Huh, I never realized throw's description said 'All Damage' (Which is even wrong ) In MEA all damage boosts work as separate additive to the corresponding base damage. So e.g., the damage boosts of throw rank 3 (20%) and rank 4 (30%) are added. Other boosts to power or biotic power damage are also added separately and that result added on top of the +50% from thow's own evolutions. Say you got something like +50% to power damage from biotic passives or gear (yeah, not realistic ), than those +50% are added on top of throw's own +50% bonus. The resulting +100% power damage is added on top of throw's base damage, so you get double damage in total, and not a 2.34 times boost. The same is true for most or even all other powers. (Which all have their own aggregating function doing the additions). Combo damages bonuses work exactly the same but are completely separate from power bonuses. The only bonuses that are connected are the ones for power AoE damage and power damange. Because power damage bonuses also apply to area of effect damage. But yeah, better tooltips and a test room / Angaramex Arena would be great.

Well, Kahmu changed the bonus calculations to work multiplicatively instead of additively in his Power Overhaul mod. But there isn't much to be done with the tooltips. I guess one could replace the nonsensical 'All Damage' text with regular 'Damage', but that's not really that much better.

yeah, but its super irritating for a RPG not to know what your points are actually doing.
