anyone knows how to import the da2 character to DA keep? As you don't specify whether you're playing on a console or on a computer, I can't guarantee that the process is exactly the same, but on consoles it goes like this: 1. First, start up Dragon Age II so that you have the blank-and-white start up screen open. Do you see in the lower right corner a text that says "Sign in to Dragon Age servers"? If you see this text, it means your game isn't linked to your EA account and because of it isn't able to synchronize with the DA Keep. If this is the case, sign in and maybe give the game a minute or so to record the data from your playthroughs. (I have fairly high speed internet, so that's what it takes for me.) 2. After this log in to the DA Keep. In the upper left corner you see a box with 3 red dots and 3 red dashes and pressing it opens dropdown menu on the left side of the screen. Press the header that says 'Heroes'. It opens pages that shows all the heroes the Keep uploaded from different Dragon Age games. Click the middle option that says Dragon Age II, and check if you see the name of your character there. For example, for me it should show the names Gilbert, Gina, and Marian Hawke. With each having an icon which tells their class. The characters don't need to have finished DA2. (E.g. Gilbert and Gina are still ongoing playthroughs for me.) If you see you character's name there, congrats you've succeeded. If you don't see your specific character's name there, follow step 3. 3. From the previously mentioned dropdown menu, select 'Replay Startup' which opens a page that wishes you welcome to the DA Keep and has a box 'Review your records'. Press it and the Keep synchronizes your DA records and accomplishments data from your EA account if it hasn't done it already for some reason. After this check the Heroes page again. Your heroes should now be there. ⚠️ If you're a first time Keep user, be aware that what the Keep records from your DA:O and DA2 games are the names, genders and classes of your heroes and the trophies you've earned while playing DA:O and DA2. When you start crafting a worldstate to use for your DA:I playthrough, you need to manually select the choices you made while playing those characters, they aren't imported to the Keep like the choices you made while playing DA:I. If you wish to check your trophies, you can find them under the header 'Career' (also found on the dropdown menu). I hope this helps.

I'd suggest waiting one additional day, I read online that sometimes it can take several hours for custom PCs to update to the Keep. Unfortunately I don't use STEAM so on that account I'm afraid I'm no help. However, if despite waiting your custom PCs still don't show up, there's a workaround. I checked this thread from the now extinct official Bioware Forum, and a user there mentioned that it's possible rename the default heroes and give them your custom PC's name. So what you need to do is open your worldstate in the tapestry, go to the DA2 section and click the picture labeled 'Hero'. This leads to choices about both your Hawke's gender and class, and their personality. In the gender and class page there's a text that says 'default heroes'. If it's not already enabled (=green checkmark), click it and you see a selection of different Hawkes. Select the card whose Hawke have the gender and class which correspond to your custom PC's and a new window opens. In it you can change Hawke's default name into one your PC had. The resulting card will be identical to what an imported custom PC one would have been.

tysm friend u're so kind trying to help me but im a lil bit confused, (1)is it possible to keep the hawke's appearence til inquisition or just his choices?? coz i saw this on yt and i wanted to play again inquisition but with my custom hawke there, and (2)i tryed to just change his nickname and all as you said (3)but nothing changes just his nickname and i was like ?-? im rly lost now sorry to bother u and tysm for the help 1) No. The Keep doesn't record our custom Hawke's appearances. When we go to meet Varric on the ramparts and click him, you get the choice to either use a default Hawke or a custom one whose looks you can craft according to your tastes just like you did when creating your Inquisitor. The DA:I default Hawke's looks are made to correspond with the looks of the DA2 default Hawke. I think one should always go with a custom Hawke, because you can still choose to use the default Hawke's face if you can't create something passable in the character creator. 2) The ability to import the given names of our wardens and Hawkes (and Inquisitors) from the DA games to the Keep is purely cosmetic. In DA:I (in conversations and in codexes about them) our wardens and Hawke will always be referred to as just Hawke or Warden. It's matter of taste whether one thinks it's worth it to be able to fiddle with names in the Keep. I think being able to give or change the PC names in the Keep help players with several imported PCs of the same race-gender-class combo or PCs with placeholder names (T1, T2, T3...) to tell their characters apart afterwards. 3) I've read that whether your Hawke was diplomatic, humorous or aggressive affects the tone and the flavor of the idle talk they have as an NPC, particularly when in the Fade. (Can't comment on this, as I remember nothing the characters discussed in the Fade during my 1st playthrough, and on my 3rd playthrough my warrior Hawke got bugged and spent his time in the Fade running uselessly around without his sword and shield like a tourist.) Hawke can also address the choices you made in DA2 in the cinematic cutscenes of the DA:I, but the tricky part is knowing when there is a possibility triggering one. If you choose the "wrong" replies from the dialogue wheel, it's very possible to not come across even a single one during one's playthrough. Hawke's opening comments to Inquisitor and Inky's reply to them change depending when you first decide to talk to him (did the player do it straight after arriving in Skyhold, before Celene's ball or after Celene's ball?) and not all have the possibility of Hawke commenting their past. Here's the same scene you posted, but done by my elf Inquisitor who had yet to go to the Winter Palace (the scene should start at 3:45) where Hawke and Inky discuss Hawke crushing Kirkwall's rebel mages.
