A few of weeks back I joined a lobby. Host said "FYI, the game is modded". I thanked him for letting me know and left.
The last week or so I wound up in two modded games (Improvement mod?). Both from the lobby. In the latest, I was pissed and let the host know it at the start that he should let people know if it's a modded game. TBH, I ended out enjoying the game, good team, hectic as hell. I actually managed to clutch the W10 completion and we extracted. Anywho...
Just curious: How many of you host modded games? Do you let people know in the lobby? Do you think hosts should let teammates know?

I don't host huge mods but when people do, they should be able (or have someone) to carry them and they should warn about them if they host public.

With your connection, that could get super scary for others. Which one was it? Mixed Factions or 12 Enemies? The latter would probably be brutal as hell with lag. I never, ever, mod in public either, one of the reasons why my gameplay trailed off (and forum participation to go with it), since soloing can be a bit too stressful at times, and was running out of ginuea pigs team-mates. I even tended to let people know if they ninja-join mid-match, too. Although most of my FL should know by now, if I'm playing ME3, it's probably modded (and not to make it easier or pay more, either, you work for your credits on my watch). On the downside, I got tired of a lot of EA's BS and ended my subscription without checking whether I actually owned ME3 or not, so I can't actually play ME3 until I get around to re-buying it. To the OP: If you HAVEN'T tried my mods though, you should totally do that, or ask if anybody here has them so you can try. Just adds a little spice to the mix. Nobody expects the swarmers to outrun their drell. Or the Atlases to outrun their Turian. Or the ABombs to have enough range that a Krogan Backhand or Biotic Charge doesn't save you from it.
