Some Recent Powers and Melee-Only Gold Solos

Saw those matches on the tube a day or two after they got posted. Nice challenges undertaken.

I've unfortunately had to drop everything for the moment, the 360 controller finally has died a death from which no techo-necromancy can revive it from (unlike last time, where I was able to revive it for a bit longer). So it's back to watching others from me (for now) until I can find a controller that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to replace over.

Ugh, I feel you. I use DS4s myself, and both of mine are so heavily used that they're starting to develop wandering stick, but neither is bad enough that I'm willing to shell out €60.


Other than the Engineer, I wouldn't really recommend those for soloing when rusty. That said, I'm one of those weirdos that do better with Volus than Krogan

Siege Pulse build on the Juggernaut with Adrenaline Module+Priming Ammo. Flamerless Geth Trooper with Cyclonic Mod. Batarian Soldier with Crusader. Asari Huntress or Justicar. Or just a lazy Collector Trooper with Warp Ammo IV on a PPR/CSMG, (ab)using the fact that he only triggers a cooldown when you detonate his power, thereby creating a persistent priming field for the damage bonus. IMHO, these are probably the easiest Gold solos in ME3MP. The problem with Infiltrators in ME3 is that Cloak doesn't work the same as in Andromeda, and is functionally useless for stealth in a solo (the AI ignores Cloak status if it can find an active player within a set amount of cycles), so it becomes nothing more than a damage bonus, so soloing tends to come down to DPS, usually via guns, sometimes via stacking DoT powers or Combo spamming.

Feel free to ignore that, too. I recently came back to MEAMP for a bit, and barely managed to solo Silver, so clearly one of us is the better soloer, and it's not me . I did, however, get the gun I'd wanted ever since BioWare ruined the loot pool - Scattershot Siphon I, so that goes onto half my most played characters immediately .
