Dragon Age The Joyguard (formerly Hype Train) [Spoilers]

Not damage control when they announced said gameplay demo at the very end of the trailer and given these things it was probably in the works for months. 

And honestly does anyone who compare it to Fortnite actually bothered to post examples? Only people I see bothering to do their research are the ones defending the game and pointing out its pretty much always looked like this. I mean I kind of am curious but I am also loathe to do so because I am sure I will die by cringe. 

And so what? You want them to show off everything all at once until they have nothing to show until the game is coming in October/ maybe November? So they have to then give off more stuff that won't be beneficial to us? They have shown off the game. They are showing off the game. They will show off the game. And really we tend to get a lot of mraketing closer to release with many games as review embargoes lift and we start seeing people play the game on YouTube/ Switch. Which is pretty much where people will go and what people will remember most and be the most beneficial to them in the long run. Currated trailers don't tell us about the game, gameplay does. 

I find it very hard to believe the gameplay reveal was supposed to drop as soon as it did, literally like the next day after the trailer. And showing the part that it did... it was fortuitous, to say the least. It was like "no no no, look, we can be dark, it's still Dragon Age!"  - because the reaction was so bad and so immediate. Could I be wrong? Sure.
