I think it’s Knight In Shining Armor. Oh! You mean SIMP. Knights in shining armor aren’t my jam, but that seems like a little bit of an oversimplification, if you’ll pardon the dad joke. Unless we’re stretching the definition of “simp” to include “anyone who’s attentive toward another person, even if they’re literally romantic partners and have been traveling together for months.” People simp internet strangers who have never even met them. If someone’s with a partner who actually wants them to act all goopy and chivalrous, that’s a completely different dynamic. |

Since romance seems to be the current topic, I guess my only wish is for their to be a LI who is explicitly on the Ace Spectrum (Asexual, Demisexual, etc). Preferably one with a personality and character I like.
But I imagine at most it'll be another case where there are some romances that have sex be optional or left ambiguous.

When it comes to romance I'll go for whoever as long as I like the character and their personality. So far my favorites have been Morrigan, Cass, Josie and Zev but if there's no one I like I have no problem staying forever alone, I do have preferences but I'm not really picky.
I'm mostly hyped for the various world designs, especially something like Minrathous, hopefully it's a lot bigger and more lively than Val Royeaux was. Also a really nice character creator.

Lady qunari and Maevaris are my biggest wishes for LI right now. I'd prefer Mae as a companion but I'll take a romance with her as an advisor-type role if thats all bioware is willing to give me  If non-party member romances are a thing again, I hope theres more party banter surrounding them this time. |
