Hello, Guys.
My question abou the Dragon Keep is: I played DA Origins and DA 2 on my Xbox One by retro. I bought the Inquisition these days and I need to know if i have to use this tool (dragon keep) or isn't necessary, since I played both on the same platform and my decisions are imported automatically?
SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!

SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE! You'll need to use the Keep, sorry. DA2 imported decisions - imperfectly, but - automatically. The Keep allows you to choose all the major - and some minor - outcomes of quests in all three games (just remember to not look in the Inquisition section!)

Of course, you can just use the "Default" world state, if you want to. But if you want the game to reflect the things you did in Origins and 2, then you need to use the Keep.

oh my! I played Origins has 2 years, I dont remember all micro decisions, but the most impotant, I remember. So I make my choices in this site, save and go play the inquisition, right?
So the decisions imported are very imperfect even?
thank you very much guys for the attention and efficiency

In the Keep, you make your choices for DAO and DA2, then save and Export it <-- this is important, without being Exported, Inquisition won't be able to find and use your World State. When you select New Game in DAI, you'll be given the option to Import a World State or use the Default. The Import option gets you to sign in to your Keep and your Exported World State choices are loaded in to the game. That choice is then fixed for all new games of Inquisition until a new one is selected in The Keep. With the Save Import from Origins to 2, it worked for the major stuff, as I recall (although it has been a really, really long time since I started a new DA2 game) but some of the smaller things could get really screwed up. While not perfect, the Keep is - in my opinion - a far better tool.

I do agree I think The Keep is a better tool then the imports especially after hearing some of the comments from developers over the years about the imports. Such as wanting to import something from game 1 and couldn't import it into game 3 because they never imported it into game 2 or incorrect results. The one thing I would suggest is to make sure you are logged into Inquisition and be online as much as possible for the game will upload your choices to Inquisition as you play so you won't have to remember your choices in the future.

DA2 imported decisions - imperfectly, but - automatically. This is not accurate. Neither DA2 or DAO upload decisions. Both of those games only upload character information: race, gender, class, origin, portrait. You could have experienced an "imperfect" import because some of your DA2 choices matched the default. The one thing I would suggest is to make sure you are logged into Inquisition and be online as much as possible for the game will upload your choices to Inquisition as you play so you won't have to remember your choices in the future. This isn't necessary. If you play offline, you can just wait until some later time in post-game to connect and upload all of the DAI decisions.

So the decisions imported are very imperfect even? thank you very much guys for the attention and efficiency If you still have your save files, you can just read through the log of completed quests to find the micro-decisions. That's what I did, so I can tell you from personal experience that that's going to take a while, especially if you want to make more than one World State. But I think it's either that or guesswork. (And if you don't still have your saves, you're stuck with guesswork.)

Hope you managed to create your world because the default world is a bit boring. Tell us if you can do it.

I haven't found it that bad. I do usually tweak but I forgot in my just-started-the-other-day playthrough. I get standard Male Hawke. Carson surved but don't know if he's a Warden or mage. No romance mentioned. I don't recall what any other Hawke choice that's mentioned. Then there's Alistair married to Anora. I'm curious how it would play out if the Warden becomes king. Not sure I ever want to play that route and now want to restart to find out. Does the Warden still vanish or does he (gotta be a "he" to rule, right?) show up In Hushed Whispers?
What else is there? Well, Leliana, but I don't think that has an impact on the game. Or does it?
Hmm...need to go to the Keep and choose some options I rarely make just to see how it impacts things.

Haven't gone that route myself either yet *adds it to the list*, but the HoF goes on the quest to cure the Calling during Inquisition regardless of who they romance/marry. It's also interesting to note that an Alistair/Anora marriage has them ruling jointly and in an Alistair/Warden marriage the Warden is called his Queen-Consort (indicating to me that although Alistair may technically be the "one in charge", it's a more equal/joint ruling). However with an Anora/Warden marriage, the Warden is only called the Prince-Consort (as opposed to King-Consort), which to me indicates that Anora is definitely the one in charge.

It's not as easy to customize the past with Dragon Keep the way you can for DAI. At least, I don't think so.
