Hello,
I understand this is "Trilogy" modding, but I see no other adequate place to put Andromeda-related mods, so there we go.
I worked for months on an overhaul of Andromeda's gunfight system. I disliked the bullet-spongy approach to weapon damage and enemy HP progression systems, and re-worked it to the best of my ability.
Mod can be found here:
Each and every weapon had been rebalanced, and tons of weapon QOL (quality-of-life) changes have been made.
Let me know what you think!

Possible to do something for the Pathfinder weapons as well? Very possible, however as I was nearing the 50th weapon mark, I was feeling little bit burned out by this. Even with some custom table editing tools I wrote in addition to Frosty Editor, it was a chore to get the amount of modifications I wanted in there.
I have marked the mod as 0.9 version, I plan on going 1.0 with at least some community feedback. It's possible I'll do the Pathfinder weapons alongside of that as well. I just do not know how their level cap of 5 will play into the whole progression, but I guess I'll figure it out.

You could use that or do something similar.

Ahh I remember seeing this mod somewhere before I started working on my own.
I kinda forgot about it. I'll try to see how they unlocked the Pathfinder weapon sets. Balancing for only up to 5 levels makes no sense, unlocking the rest is the only way to make it viable in my mod, currently.

Could you just double the power at each each level so that a level 5 PF gun=level 10 gun?

Not really, then a Lvl 5 PF gun (equivalent in power to regular lvl 10 gun) will be available at the same time regular guns are only lvl 5.
A mod mentioned by KrrKs not only managed to unlock full I-X progression, they were also kind enough to put up a Frosty project source as well. Which means I can easily see how they actually did that.

Let me know what you guys think.

eudaimonium : Video and mod look really cool. Kudos on all the hard work. I have a question: Judging by the description and the video, the weapons seem much more powerful with the mod. Does this mean the game is much easier now or did you compensate somehow by making Rider more vulnerable? If not, can you maybe recommend another comabt mod to combine this with so the overall difficulty remains similar to the base game?
In any case, looks fun. If I ever go for a third playthrough I might try this out. Looks like it should make fights a little more streamlined and faster.

If I may answer this: According to the google docs spreadsheet linked at the mod site, base player HP is reduced to half its original value to counteract the increased damage output.
