I'm doing the playtrough where I intend to side with Branka in Orzammar main quest.
But I'm aware it cause for Shale to turn against you, so I wanna know to what point I can furthest keep her in party in Deep Roads before no point of return? Since her quest is tied to the Deep Roads too, but I don't want to do backtrack just for Shale's quest.
So I wanna what's the most efficient path to do both?

The point of no return is when you chat with Branka. At that point you can access the world map and go back to the camp to change your party. As to the most efficient way to do her quest too, I'm not sure. I haven't played for a while  |

Her quest activates either during talk with Caridin or - if not present at that time - in post-Anvil of the Void talk, where she asks about Caridin's fate. In case of former, she remembers location of Cadash Thaig right away, in case of latter first trip to Deep Roads triggers her remembering it. Cadash Thaig is wholly seperate location iirc.
So if you plan to side with Branka and keep Shale alive, it's best to just leave her behind.

Alright, I go to that point and it looks like the trigger for Shale's quest is Caridin. To not lose her by siding with Branka, you just need to approach enter Anvil area without Shale, eventually defeat Caridin and then approach a statue with list of volunteers. Go to camp, talk with Shale, then go to Orzammar Shaperate to discuss the list of volonteers, talk with Shale again and you'll get her quest area on Orzammar map.
