Hogwarts Legacy (Harry Potter universe game)

There is a small update to Hogwarts Legacy that adds a photo mode and the PS-exclusive stuff is now available to everyone. I'm not sure it is enough to make me jump back into the game right now (although I probably will play again at some point - never finished my 2nd PT as an evil Slytherin).

More interestingly, Jason Schreier said Rocksteady is working on a Director's Cut of Hogwarts Legacy.

I think that could make sense as it allows Avalanche to focus on the sequel while hopefully giving us new features/content for the current game. Not sure what would be in a Director's Cut but you can tell a lot of things were cut like a more elaborate companion system, a reputation system, etc. I don't know if those could be added back in like that or if it would be too much work though. But I always felt like Hogwarts Legacy had the foundation to be an even better game than it is.

I am intrigued but confused. Dunno what story quest they could add. A ravenclaw companion maybe? Or just more Amit content to really make him one on par with the others.

Dare I hope for more content with Ominis? (And/or Sebastian, I guess)

Perhaps it’ll be a real dlc story and it’s own thing. Or maybe even a story that will bridge to Hogwarts Legacy 2. Which I’d love cus I really hope HL2 picks up with this same setting and cast, just in 6th or 7th year.

No matter what, you know it won’t be quidditch. lol
