Okay, I had this installed in the past. Seemed to work great. Then I saw there was an update so decided to go ahead and install it. It's a nightmare. It accepts one of the files but then gets stuck on the update. (Update for the update which makes no sense - just reupload the original update with the change since the installer doesn't recognize it otherwise.) Then the installer itself is "missing" a file even though I was required to update that. I gave up. I removed all ALOT files because I'm so pissed off. Hope it doesn't break my game but this whole thing is ridiculous.
To be clear, this is ALOT 11.0. The update to the update was a simple drag and drop but got stuck. Anyone else having these issues? If so, how did you resolve them?

Yo, check this mother fucker out. ME1 Project Beautification adds ray tracing to ME1. And not only that, this exemplary specimen of masculinity called PP Kore, emphasis on his humongous PP, even uploaded a video for us. Which I can't see, because I'm at work. But I can put it up here for all you good people. Remind me again, why we need a remaster?

This is interesting and at times looks very good, but there is a lot of texture popping going on. Video is old, so just curious... hadn't seen this mod, makes me feel like I'm not paying attention

This is interesting and at times looks very good, but there is a lot of texture popping going on. Video is old, so just curious... hadn't seen this mod, makes me feel like I'm not paying attention As you can see, this looks very close to the LE by itself. The pop in and some clipping you see is from modded femshep in a modded armour. This isn't related to project Merlin. Merlin restores some lighting that is present in the X360 version, but missing from the PC one, along various other fixes, including stuff that you've already seen in the LE, like the transparency in the helmets. It also fixes the eyes for a lot of models and it also has the added bonus that it uses the original ME1 models and not the horrible, backported ME3 ones, that LE uses.

Also, not a mod, but something we don't see very often, ME1 on ultrawide
One day, I am going to get something like the Odyssey 9, which is a 5120 x 1440, 32:9 monitor and fucking take my sweet ass time with these games. And by these games I mean ME1 and 2. I still don't feel like touching ME3 ever again.

A mod to make Saren a little less huskified. Still doesn't change the head, but it is a big improvement, overall.
Another point for modded ME1.

This is an opinion -
If you want to have ALOT installed for ME3 it needs to be in a "sandboxed" install. No, not an IPSEC sandbox, just a separate installation of the game. Especially if you play the multiplayer.
Despite. ME3Tweaks being very good about helping you restore a clean backup, having to reinstall everything anytime ALOT, or any of your other mods, updates, is a giant pain in the ass. So much so, that I have stopped using it all together. It is just a nuisance for the most part, to me.
These issues don't appear as much in ME1/2, for me in particular because there is no multiplayer. Cannot update or add ME3MP mods if you have ALOT installed, unless you do a restore and start over. ALOT install takes a lot of time, even with an absolute beast of a machine doing it.
I know this is an old thread, but these were my thoughts on the OP subject.

ALOT install takes a lot of time, even with an absolute beast of a machine doing it. I know this is an old thread, but these were my thoughts on the OP subject. Well I think that ALOT is a mess since that fiasco years ago with a modder. A modder who found their stuff in ALOT and they threw a tantrum and removed all ME3 mods and what not. ALOT has been a mess since. I personally don't use ALOT -though I do understand the mod installing can be a chore. I have installed over 50 mods into ME3 of different kinds: .exe's, .dds .mod, .tpf, and DLC's. Even made some texture ones -simply because I don't like the mod versions or the default versions. All ME3 mod installing is a chore -especially if you use different types of mods. Though for me it probably takes longer that most others do to get them installed -which has taken hours -sometimes a full day. The reason is I am still trucking a FX 8370 and a GTX 970 so the installation of mods is time consuming. Especially if one of the mods doesn't work correctly and you got to go through it all over again. EGM and Project Variety being incompatible for example and breaking the recruitment of Tali. I was out of date when I installed both of these and didn't realized they were incompatible till later. I looked found out and went ehh bye Project Variety I am keeping my EGM. THIS is the real chore: finding out which mods are incompatible where it is an unknown. Hopefully though this will not take as long next time I have to install ME3 since it will be on a custom PC I am building. Though still getting parts for it -down to hard drives, GPU and desk. So yes if you do multiplayer it would be best to have two copies of ME3 available. A shortcut to both on the desktop would be a quicker way to launch.
