So far I’ve gotten to the point where father dies, I’d say BioWare could have handled it better... the way he died was too cliche for such a great character. That’s my only gripe so far which is surprising considering the flak this game has been getting from reviewers online. I’ve been a Mass Effect fan since 2007 when people where comparing it to Halo 3 so all the negative reviews and early game footage really put me off from buying this game until recently when news of a Mass Effect remaster began circulating. So I finally purchased Andromeda knowing full well what a disappointment this game would be. Turns out I was wrong! This is a pretty decent game! Love the new gameplay mechanics (still miss B to melee though) the character models and animations are great! And I can still role play as military nonsense attitude character! I even got Ryder to look a little like Neil Armstrong! Maybe that’s JUST me though! Lol.
EDIT: After playing a little more of the game I have to say some of the writing is AWFUL! Like it was written by a 3rd grader! But it’s still a decent RPG that’s held my interest more than most new games coming out nowadays. Man.. TO WHOMEVAND YOUR GD$dmm FATHER MY FACE IS TIRED! Like reaally??? REALLY BioWare? Who the heck talks like that? And why are there so many curse words in this game? Not that I don’t ever curse but it’s a little immature in some scenes.
