Sounds good to me, knock yourself out, but I really don't need to gild this particular lily outside adding some extra bacon, which rarely blows up in your face. Otherwise a bit of a stickler when it comes to following the recipes, give or take some playing around with the ratios. Part of what makes cooking relaxing and therapeutic for me. And there are so many brilliant and creative meal ideas out there, it'd be ridiculous if someone didn't look around and put some of them to use.

Only times I fly completely blind or go out of my way to find extra flavors are with soups, because that's just what makes them an adventure.

PM me your bomb vegan/vegetarian recipes.

Or post them here. I can't with the cruelty anymore, returning to the diet (and conscience) of my young adulthood. So, I want to eat your food and either praise or complain about it.

The site is really worth having a look at if you are into Pasta. It is really about preserving historical recipes that these old Italian women (one I watched today was 96) made since they were kids and they use their own home grown ingredients or locally sourced ingredients.

My daughter is just starting a career as a Chef and loves making her own pasta and some of the techniques they use are great and some of the pasta's I have never heard of that how and why I started watching the videos.

I just had two chilli cheese dogs.

I have been watching too much Corner Gas lately.

Thai green curry is a personal fav.

Today I will have a traditional Dutch stamppot (this time with potatoes mashed with spinach) and meat balls and gravy. Simple food, but I love it.

AngryFrozenWater sjpelke has given me her Stamppot recipe and I keep meaning to make it but I would be the only person in my family except maybe my wife who would eat it. My son wont eat potatoes and my daughter who once would have eaten it day or night has gone off potatoes as well.

Need a night when I am home alone to make it for myself.

We have had Pasta two nights in a row, first was Spinach and Ricotta Agnolotti (store bought fresh) with a creamy bacon, chicken stock, Parmesan, Garlic and Mixed Italian Herbs.

Last night was Penne with Bacon, fresh tomato sauce with Cherry tomatoes in it and with Red Wine, Garlic, Rosemary, Basil and Oregano.

Tonight I have pre-prepared myself a Lamb Korma Curry to just heat up as everyone else has sporting or other commitments and I am not the only fan of curries but the biggest one in the house.
