This just started a few days, a week ago maybe? Did someone tinker with the code again or did my browser (same one I've been using) suddenly get stupid?
Using Firefox 82.0.2 64bit

I noticed the same behavior the last few days. At first I thought I was getting stupid and not clicking on the correct icon or something... Same firefox version, using the 'Blue' theme

Just a reminder - as per the advice at the header of this subforum and threads in it - to tag regack so that she sees it when she comes online.

And for what it may be worth, just tried clicking "new" on a few threads (I normally click on the "last post") and in all occasions it took me to the first unread post - on Chrome.

Ah, thanks for that. I looked but didn't see any names as it's the same text format as everything else.
I think it might be a browser thing as I'm pretty sure Firefox updated recently. Going to the next new post works like it should about 20% of time.

It also seems to always work on subsequent visits to the same thread.

I suspect Firefox probably updated around the time you noticed the issue, otherwise it would be a very big coincidence.
It could be an extension for Firefox that was updated, as well, if you both use the same one (uBlock or Adblock maybe?)
