Mass Effect Legendary Edition (General Discussion)

Well...I see for some, the Mass Effect Legendary Edition isn't so...Legendary...anymore...

Couple of things from what I've seen in various vids:

1- Pics DO NOT do the game justice imo, seeing it in moving form is better. And even better when its high quality.

2- Never really was a Kelly Chambers fan...but what did was wrong. Despicable. Just borderline flat out evil. Shame on you Bioware

3- The thresher maw fights look AWESOME

4- I like all of Eden Prime visually BUT the reveal of Soverign. It like its going perfect...then you see that and it's like... sigh......

5- The planet where you fight Elanos The Turian...LOOKS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6- Feros looks interesting. I don't like it more but I certainly don't like it worse. Has a more gritty feel to it though.

7- Some of the facial models look really good and yet somewhat...off...at the same time Others look fantastic

8- Please let there be an armor glitch.....pleeeeeaaaaaasssssseeeeeeeeeeeee (hell patch the thing in there if ya have to!!!)

9- How often will certain ultra rare items drop or show up? (Krogan battlemaster/rage, savant X this and that, Phantom armor, etc)

10- I'm really really really curious to see how Mass Effect 2 feels. Sometimes I feel that ME2 mainly feels better than 1 because of the graphical difference. Will that be the same with the LE graphical update?


Oh, and btw, for Xbox users: Last I checked, May 14th at 12AM. 12AM. TWELVE AM.

I wonder what they are patching?

In the several hours I've been able to play, I've not experienced any bugs, glitches or crashes *

(* except one solitary pop-up subtitle in one cutscene, when I don't have subtitles)

Hey wait a minute, what if that picture you showed was from the original ME1??? Sorry for my suspicions. The thought of it just popped in.

From what I saw, most people saying some models are going to be fixed don’t believe the game looks bad overall.
I doubt they decided to work on any face model for this patch, anyway. 

Do you really think there are some chances for added CC options? I doubt that.

Well, there are other ways to check if the Morality-enhancing glitches were all kept. Like the one at the start of ME2.
BioWare usually leaves those kind of glitches in their games. All three DA game have a version of the same one to make more money by copying items.

I honestly think that was just a horrible picture of Kelly. The lighting is most likely off or darker making her hair look brunette rather than red.

All the aliens look fantastic, heaps more detail. Although, Liara's weird freckle line on her forehead before her tentacle things is really pronounced and I always found that odd as most other asari don't have that line. Meh.

Sheploo looks fantastic, though I will miss how we see him ageing a little over the course of the games. He looks the same in ME as he does in ME3 now, which isn't bad (since the ME3 model is fantastic) but seeing him look progressively more tired is incredibly appropriate.

Ugh. Really not liking her new look. But it's just one of those things I have to learn to live with. Like eating vegetables and exercise.

ME2 -> ME2 LE. ME3 for reference. I tried to brighten the LE image to try to counter the darkness... but I must say I do prefer the ME2 version much better... her hair seems much more healthy and vibrant. Her eyes carried over well at least. She still looks like lovely Kelly Chambers overall- still, I feel for you Hanako. I was pissed for a moment when it looked like Sheploo had massive eyeliner. Luckily he turned out great. Hate it when favorite characters are turned into abominations.

Yep, she was one of the Asari that was changed. Given that there’s a few of them changed with this approach, including Liara, I wonder what’s the reason behind it.

By the way, for all fearing that they might cut some questionable content, you can still punch Khalisah.
