Indeed, doesnt work with power inactive while you are on cooldown. Except nade is there a power you can click while on cooldown? Barrier can be detonated but not switched on |

I remember the vast majority of the dev team being awful at the MP with a few exceptions. Perhaps memories of getting run flat in bronze are what persuaded them to not include it.

Wee bit late with the Butt controversy....but listening to this vid, it's a bit disturbing that dev's stated if they made the game today, they would have altered the design of Miranda and Asari's.... I think the narrator also mentioned something about EDI's design as well...which leads me to believe that Bioware will probably edit more than that one Butt shot in ME2...i don't want to sound like a jerk or anything, but man....i don't see what the problem is with having sexy looking characters in a game that is practically known for it...sex scenes in Andromeda was more raw than anything in ME2 but you want to edit Miranda's butt?.....  I'm not sure where the industry is going at this point....women hit the gym to look good in those jeans or that dress.....women go to the beach and wear that two piece bikini...i just don't understand....it mentions in the vid that in the interview dev's were worried about catering to males....which is your main audience.....just crazy....i'm glad i at least have the original ME2 and 3 on PS3.....these games are rated mature for a reason, but because you want to champion some sort of agenda and not offend folks, this is what we end up with...... Sorry for the rant......

It's the desire to be politically correct so as not to offend certain minority groups. PC started off with good intentions but the agenda got hijacked along the way. Now PC is being used to hide uncomfortable truths or push various agendas.

When you look at the track record of Miranda's original writer (and the guy in charge of all Mass Effect since ME2 post-launch, kinda), it's obvious he doesn't like her anymore. At first, he neglected her in the ME2 DLCs, then ME3... we all know, the OT comics that came post-ME3... some would prefer not to know. Now he's just continuing to remove the sources of her popularity, throwing political or thematical excuses with mixed reception.
EDI's robot design reeks with semen (the name "Sexbot" didn't come out of the void), is almost universally criticized and you don't need to be afraid of the blue checkmarks to disapprove.
The asari are more puzzling, there's nothing distasteful in their model design, I opt to believe it's those vulgar stripper outfits that make a bad first impression of the species when a new player enters Chora's Den and that's the first time they're in the spotlight, or something else related just to the apparel rather than the bodily shapes or sth.

Haha...well i will admit about EDI's over the top design, but she is easy on the eyes to look at, but furthermore she was written extremely well in ME3.....they appropriately managed her growth as a character in that game and they constantly showed how she struggled with understanding human emotions and reactions. I can see if she was written as an empty shell, but her character had depth and she had some interesting dialogue with Shep throughout the entire game.
I don't remember her and Legion interacting too much tho....i think i might have expected that a little more since they are both advanced A.I.....but i always had EDI in my squad alongside Garrus....never knew the backstory on how the original writer felt about Miranda tho....that's interesting....

I think the obvious solution here is to add in a bunch of butt shot angles on the guys too. They did this already. One of the reasons I don't mind the lingering shots of Miranda's butt is that they also have lingering shots of Garrus' butt, and Shepard's butt, which just underscores how silly the whole thing is. There are a lot of chest shots during conversations as well.
