So... thinking about starting up a new runthrough (1-3 and Andromeda) as an Adept.
Never done Adept before.
Any thoughts?

In Andromeda, I'd go for two profiles: #1 annihilation field with vortex, double throw, lance (or if you can mod, double warp) #2 singularity with exploding end, double throw, pull/lance(/warp) Those just work like wreight train hitting enemies #1 for close encountering and exploding, coupled with Dhan/Piranha/Hurricane #2 for keeping the enemies away and exploding them

ME1 take lift, singularity and barrier, get good with pistols(they are oddly the highest DPS in the game), eventually take stasis and warp. You are crowd control though and lift/singularity are the main ones. Bastion instead of nemesis, and now stasis shines as you can shoot enemies trapped in it. It comes late enough that I usually don't rush to max stasis.
Me2 there are a ton of ways to go at it, you are going to eventually come close to maxing everything. Singularity heavy is better. Your passive bastion is better IMO due to the wonky paragon/renegade test system. And also again your are crowd control so the longer the duration the better. I like going shotgun adept, but its not a easy playstyle if you actually aggressively use it. Assault rifle with the mattock is probably the best choice once you hit the collector ship/
ME3 you can probably ignore singularity they screwed it up big time. And with how short the cool down is on lift is you rarely will need it.I still like it and stasis as my extra power as they do have duration's when you have targets they work on you can use it ignore them while your lift/throw blows up the best and then go back to the enemies trapped in singularity and stasis. I again prefer shotgun adept but really shoot for 200% recharge bonus. its more effective.
MEA
I pretty much agree with Unicephalon but I'd take expanding singularity, the radius gets so crazy huge I don't have to wonder if a enemy is in the area, they just are. The damage from exploding wasn't significant enough to make a difference for me, it was like 1/3 of a enemies shield. Sadly if you have the points to dump in tech the sentinel profile just makes a better adept profile unless enough enemies are close enough together to get 3 echos.
