I had a gig in my journal and I thought it was a cyberpsycho I decided to leave for later pre-finishing Act 1 the first time I tried it. But it ended up being another gig where I have to steal a van full of jacket. The place is full of Tiger Claws, what are they doing so deep in Watson? This is Maelstrom territory.
And I just need a bit more street credit for those nice gorilla arms. Hopefully, they feel good to use. Otherwise, I'm thinking of changing build...but 100k eddies. Meh.

So, street racing. What a load of crap. The opponents don't race you, they are just ported behind you constantly. And while I was first, suddenly I am shown as third and two cars are ported in front of me out of thin air, just 10 seconds before the final. Yeah, fun 😂

I got my gorilla arms. Finally! And these are awesome for punching. You feel a lot more weight behind the punches...and the enemies do too. Now should I make them do shock or burns? Oh and I did the gig I mentioned in my previous, as I re-stumbled on it. It was my trial for the gorilla arms, poor cyberpsycho. Something interesting happened at the end, the guy I was sent to save went outside the building. While I was talking to Regina to close the contract, he called Judy. It's funny, because I have to go see her, but I'm enjoying doing gigs currently...and if the other sectors have as much stuff as Watson this game is huge. So, street racing. What a load of crap. Yeah, fun 😂 NPCs/car do the porting a lot, when they don't "transmorph". I once jaywalked across the street and saw a big white truck coming at me while I was turned my head, moved it back right away to avoid it and it was now a small car. Magic!

The Chapter 1 gigs get pretty repetitive, but in Chapter 2 there are more side jobs that are actually interesting and not just the common "steal, plant bug, escort". Some are even surprising like the whole crucifixion quest, which starts just as an ordinary hit, but escalates pretty fast afterwards - and later no one even mentions the poor sucker who started it.

Who knows about no later references. I just stumbled on the corpse of a cop killed by Anna Hamill in a pile of garbage. I wouldn't have spotted him without the "green loot" indicator. Regina asked me to shoo her outside of town (contract asked for her to not be a problem anymore). Turns out she had other idea than running straight out of town as she killed the corrupt cops who wanted her dead. Now I did told her it was cops who wanted her dead... It's basically random. I suspect most people won't even realize it's related.

I kept getting hit by cars whilst crossing the road. Looked in to one of the cars to see this dude just chilling out with some headphones on or something just bopping his head away as if he was at the lights . Anyway, collected ol' flathead for Dex after I told Maelstrom that maybe that credit card had something extra in it for them. Figured I'd rather fight the militech on the way out, they might have better stuff to loot and I probably wouldn't catch some strange disease from them like I would from Maelstrom . Tell you guys what though...I want whatever these crazy kids have (and Jackie too), those little mechs straight up Swiss cheesed them and they just didn't seem that concerned about it. So...after it crashed the first time because Royce must have still been on the toilet or something, I let them do most of the heavy lifting. Dum Dum was all "Oh he needs help!" And I look at the scene before me and think "But does he Dum Dum? You could take on 2 of these bad boys by yourself with just one of your spider kinda eyeballs." Anyway, after the shootin' and lootin' is done, boot boy turns up to "save me" . Not sure what he meant, he hasn't met Dum Dum yet. Also met up with Evelyn who wants me to cheat Dex out of some cash. Declined. Didn't wanna mess with some guy who had gold arms.

While tracking down the rogue Delamain vehicles, I came across GlaDOS. The cake was definitely a lie! Also, I bought my first vehicle, a motorcycle. I like that its quick and handles better, also you see V when driving in 3rd person. The down side is that much like in real life if you drive like a maniac you can expect to die in short order. ^Case in point. LOL.

I did a gig that was to pickup a guy and extract him via a car ride. After turning in the guy to the contact, they ended both taking the car that was used for the extraction...so I hitched a ride on the rooftop! The car ended up looping a road section outside of town (north of Northside) and then *poof* disappeared...which launched me in the air. LOL. That's very much my experience the first time I drove a motorcycle. I also prefer driving them too. NPC Cars go at like 40km/h and stop on green lights (and drive on red lights). It's super annoying. But with a moto...you can use the sidewalks. Just don't crash on people.

I was never able to pick up Jackie's bike despite his mom giving me the key. I don't see it anywhere in the quest log on how to obtain it.

Btw, just checked. There is no option for V to have a grenade for a nose. Preorder canceled! Where is the mod, people? Chop, chop!

Down Left of the screen, you see your shortcut. Like phone etc, you'll see one with the car and the shortcut is on it.

I think someone will have to do a price balancing mod because something doesn't make sense. Trajectory analysis mod: $20 800 Crafting Spec for Trajectory analysis so you can craft it: $520 000 Oh and the respec thingy cost $100 000. Meh...should be cheaper. Everything in Night City is ungodly expensive lol. Can’t even buy a car while I wait for the dumb AI to fix my wheels.

I accidentally killed a civilian. The cops and half a dozen drones materialised on V out of thin air. If they can do that, what's with all the crime in the city? Came across a crooked ripperdoc, didn't buy his story and he offered a slash in prices. Ok but then, rather chancy; he could install bad stuff on V.

Regina first car she wants to sell you is like 13.5k, which takes like 30 minutes to make in-game by doing some fixer gig/NCPD dispatch on the map (one with a lots of enemies preferably) by selling loot. It's less than gorilla arms or the legendary cyberdeck I bought this afternoon (I can't tell you how much it cost, didn't look, probably ~40k considering how much money I had left). Oh and less than the money Rogue ask for her little service. I paid that too. I think I spent around 100k eddies today and I made another 50k on top of that. Or something like that.

I'm almost done with Watson's side content. I think, as some of the NCPD stuff seems to popup randomly.
I also did some car "trials" (aka take the stuff of ganggoons after I dealt with them) to see which one I prefer. Currently, Jackie's moto is still the best.
My character now has over 400 armor and I don't even bother focusing too much on the gear itself.
The Gorilla arms are still glorious. I actually meet a cyberpsycho who boxed me. That was cool, most enemies falls in one or two punches. Sometimes they flyback and die on impact too. Now I need the anti-burn mod (hopefully it stack with the armor one), because burning is the thing that annoys me the most in combat.

Him sharing random thoughts with my female V via text is hilarious. When he was rambling on about the fox and the poisoned pond or something like that my V was like, 'uhh...Goro, is that you?" The characters and writing are the highlight so far.

I came across a Witcher book reference in one Dennis Cranmer. When the name was added to V's contact list I had double take, "wait a second, why is that name familiar?" Haha. Also, the quest to collect your reward from the ripperdoc Cassius Ryder seems to have bugged out on me.

I think Cyberpunk just did a AC Isu Valhalla sage thing. The difference is that both are aware of each other. I've to say I didn't expect it to turn out this way.

What's better than Ping? A Legendary Ping that let's you hack people even if they are behind obstacles. Mwahahahahahahaha 😁 If you thought hacking is already easy with the regular Ping, you haven't experienced clearing a two story building in record time while eating at the diner on the other side of the street. A quickhack poison that affects 6 targets in 15+ meter radius, 100% extra quickhack damage while remaining unnoticed, 100+% quichack duration, 30% more damage to the targets after the first, crit chance and crit damage unlocked for quickhacks! A dozen people are dropped before you can take two bites from your burger! It takes longer to loot than to clear.
The Legendary quickhack crafting ability is worth it. Ate up all resources I had for it, without me noticing, but I am decked out in nonlethal nukes. Also crafting legendary stuff levels your Crafting perk real fast.

I’m just imagining a netrunner casually knocking out mooks while eating a hawt dawg.
