My V went through the Heist and the Gate of Hells. I have no idea why they made that sequence so long. It's a bit annoying when you have limited playing time. Jackie flashed his punk outfit for a bit in Del during the escape too, then he reverted to his corpo suit for the "final". I wonder if they originally had different "path" to do the Heist and you were not always suited up for it. I do know people found a different escape route that is half finished. I always find the emails in Yori's penthouse interesting: NetWatch didn't care what was on the Relic and Hellman really wanted it back. I'm sad Spider Murphy doesn't show up more in the game, but there are rumors she is in Phantom Liberty. The "real" game is starting tomorrow...and with my balance mod I should be able to do stuff in Glen/Downtown while stuff in Watson will stay challenging later on instead of becoming easy-mode past level 10 (and I'm already level 11). Pics under the spoilers... I forgot to post this one yesterday, that is some crazy level of chrome. I'm jealous. With the fog, the shuttle looks sinister Look at those Posers! Shmashy-shmashy Gate of Hells This is the same bag V drops at his apartment in the montage. Hidden meaning or just reused asset???

Last night I started a new playthrough that has two things I've never done before: a Nomad lifepath and a male V. Definitely prefer female V's voice (not surprising since Cherami is an amazing voice actor) but I'm glad the male voice isn't always the try hard to be tough voice they directed him to do.
Also trying to do a pacifist run on Hard is annoying. Hopefully once I level up it'll get easier.

I think I've also been relying a bit too much on quickhacks so now I try to mix things up a bit. Like using the "Pax" Weapon Mod to turn my Nue Pistol non-lethal and also using the Optical Camo to do non-lethal takedowns. It's a very different experience because I always try to clear a level without getting detected as well.

Yeah I think I'm going to have to restart and go more this route where I put points more into weapons than hacking. Even with rare quickhacks it almost never takes an enemy down and I'm still in the part where the game hasn't even truly begun yet, and my weapons do so little damage. Which I guess would make more sense for a Nomad anyway (at least as far as a Nomad who avoids killing anyway) since they'd rely more on weapons than netrunning.

The Breach Protocol quickhack helps for netrunning, but it's not available for some enemies. I also use the Ping quickhack a lot. It's useful to locate the enemy netrunners, cameras, and automated turrets. Using quickhacks to takedown enemies can get boring fast though. I try not to make that mistake.

On my very hard run I found it easiest to rely on sneaking and grapples early on. But even on normal, offensive quickhacks only became useful at around level 10 with a lot of points in intelligence and a better cyberdeck.

Thank you for the advice everyone. I’ve remade my Nomad to now be a Sniper build. They’re also good at sneaking for when up close (and to hear the conversations), and keeps a shotgun as a backup weapon. I also use the Ping quickhack a lot. It's useful to locate the enemy netrunners, cameras, and automated turrets. Yeah the Ping quickhack has become very useful when using the Tech Sniper I’ve begun using since it can shoot through walls. On my very hard run I found it easiest to rely on sneaking and grapples early on. But even on normal, offensive quickhacks only became useful at around level 10 with a lot of points in intelligence and a better cyberdeck. Ah okay, I just wasn’t high enough level yet.

I got a problem, every time I get to Judy in the story I just want to reroll a female V and romance her again. Also, I'm not finding Katana that fun to play. Punching things is more fun. I really don't get why it takes 20 street creds to get the lowest level gorilla arms. Saying that, I don't have to restart to switch to brawler, I just need to reset my points...and get to 20 street creds without punching things.

Although...Judy was kind of obvious. Punching took me a while to work out, though.

Show off. Although...Judy was kind of obvious. Punching took me a while to work out, though. When I learned we could punch things pre-release, I planned to make my first character a hacker/boxer and that's what I did. That spoiled me. As for Judy, that's just me never going far with a male V and meeting River too late... I never meet Kerry too! I planned to romance Panam with a male V a few times, but it never happened. I always switch to female V before I encounter Panam.

I respecced my V into Brawler and then I went to the Blade Runner Easter egg to trigger rain before going to Jackie's offrenda. I got a real downpour for that quest. I also realized that I forgot one part of the scaling and balance mod, the part where enemies were scaled. I got torn apart by a few Valentinos. Then I installed the missing mod part and I torn them apart with GUTS. But now I'm punching people, without gorilla arms...it's slow. Pics of V's adventure in NC under the tag I shouldn't be talking to cops... Traffic jam and I wasn't even responsible Vista Matching boots finally! Neon everywhere! Sad at Jackie's offrenda

Respecing is fortunately pretty cheap. Judy was my choice for female V. I liked her VOs and her laid back attitude. And getting a call from her grandma reminded me of Geralt trying to get past granny in TW1.

I reached Street Cred 20 doing a couple of gig in Watson and I bought my gorilla arms. My lovely gorilla arms. Things now fall in 1-3 punches instead of like 10 of them. I also tried monowire. The DPS is listed at x2 that of gorilla arms, but it takes 2-3 hits to kill things too. :/ Mendez and Barry are now having a nice chat. Hopefully not more suicide on my apartment floor for a while. I also turned in the first gig of the game before I forgot about it and got the tattoo. I wish I could keep it... No top NPCs need to learn to park their car. Not my doing. NPC car drivers just go insane every time I fighting people near the street, sometimes they can't even see what I'm doing and they do this:

I beat some brats again, then I went to sleep to start some Night Adventures. I explored Downtown and did some stuff there. I never really did the place before since the level system less or more set that as late game. First thing, there is zero people walking around at night. Watson always has people walking around regardless of time. Also, lots of intrigues it seems. And liars. And corpo conspiracies. I love the architecture too, unfortunately I still had a downpour, so not the best of time to take screenshots. Nothing like beating brats under the rain Some environmental artist had really cool ideas... The NCPD might have to make some "no drugs" rules. That cop is aiming at his own car... The two civies there were taking pictures of Animals murdering people or looking over a murder. I'm not quite sure what happened there. They ran off when I started to punch the goons. Plants in cages! Free the plants! Nice club, but the owner is friend with the two asshole BD makers. You know whom I'm talking about... There seems to be a few very interesting ambient conversation in that place too. Oh and I think Dino is a liar too, since the emails inside suggest the owner isn't paying him for something, but he make up a story about a co-owner being kicked out wanting payback.

I got back to the game again, still playing a Streetkid male. I was on very hard, and tried to not use an intel build, but I can't. I'm addicted to quickhacks.
Otherwise i'm having more glitch than ever. A visual glitch with V head, he looked like hellraiser. An npc just vaguely hit her toe on my car while I was parking, she was fine, didn't fall on the ground or anything but she started screaming, running around, and next thing you know all the cops and netrunner started to chase me. Then I was parking my car to get to Vik, hit another car not hard or anything,...again npc started screaming for their lives. Ncpd arrives on the scene, crashed their car into npc car, NCPD car goes flying up in the air, the cop fall down from the car and splash on the ground. Another time I drive and drift in some corner and came close to hitting NCPD officers, but I didn't hit them. And there you go, again I'm chased by the morons.
I don't understand why people want a police system, I want the police to leave me alone ...everything they do is immersion breaking.

I have not taken any pictures since I lasted posted pictures I've cleared out all of Regina Jones' (had to google her name even though I've seen it a lot ) contracts so she is completely cleared out permanently. Ive also cleaned out all the NCPD in the local area - theres only one which is strangely unlocked, sitting all by it's lonesome on the other side of the map w hich I can't get to for now, I think. The only opportunity left, is the first beat on the brat. Maaaaybe, just maaaaaaaybe, it's now time to finally meet Jackie over at All Foods . Better clean out my inventory first though haha.

Apparently, if you decide to stand and wait while Cassidy plays his guitar during With A Little Help From My Friends, he cycles through a bunch of other acoustic songs. I’m pretty sure I’ve padded out my playtime extensively just stopping to vibe with all this music.
