Cyberpunk 2077 - What did you do today Spoiler Edition

Instead of playing Roach Race like I intended to, I decided to go on a Maxtac murder spree. She likes it rough, so that's how I give it to them.

Then, Judy called to go swimming. I went, and decided for some reason to listen to Johnny and get the hell out of there once she was out.

This was a terrible decision, but god damn was the choice worth it to get that delivery from her, the disappointment. What a fantastic actress. I immediately Alt-F4'd, shook it off, and reloaded to make sure my friend was safe at night and was not abandoned again.

I have noticed what seems like a lot more NPC background activities lately. More people sitting at a table and playing a game, more ambient conversations that I can eavesdrop on. Nothing of consequence, but these little things add up to making a more immersive experience and making Night City seem a little less obviously robotic.

I really look forward to what they release for 1.7 and then the DLC.

Opinion - Hypercritical is a less-good M99 Saber. It is a good gun, I like it and with a shooty build I imagine the reloads would be much more manageable and maybe make it better than the Saber. But I immediately thought of the Saber the first time I used the new gun.

If you have an Nvidia GPU, this hotfix fixes an issue with the latest driver that gained +10 (or better) FPS but caused major visual problems on the map. This, if a solid hotfix, should improve significantly FPS.

What's your gut on this? Bad driver, or flaw in the game code?

My bet is on CDPR. Then the question becomes, can they fix it?

Haven't actually 'played' with it, yet. Rolled a male V nomad and basically got out of the conversation with the Sheriff and that was it. Spider-Man still has a city to save, but all looks good so far.

For sure; and I fully expect that I’ll get dips in the market as well.  I use in-game benchmarks as more of a guideline than a product guarantee.

DAI’s benchmark was notoriously amusing in this regard.  I remember running three times in succession and getting three significantly different results (as in; 8 frames difference between worst average and best).  I imagine that they’ve improved since then, but I still don’t regard them as ‘absolute truth of what I’ll experience’.
